Short Story has been nothing short of amazing! They have given me confidence in all aspects of my life. The clothes fit beautifully and absolutely love the variety. Very grateful for my stylist as well - she truly takes feedback to heart and provides incredible styles.

It is a rare experience to have a company that understands and specializes in clothes for women who are under 5’ 4” This is refreshing as the predominance of the fashion industry caters to women who are tall and slender. This company provides a dedicated fashion consultant to each client who can focus on the individual needs of the client. The process is user friendly. It is easy to return unwanted items. Feedback is encouraged. Requests for assistance are answered promptly. Each item is high quality, though not unreasonably expensive. I have been involved with this company since June 2026.

The clothes that come in my box almost always fit me so much better than things I find in regular stores, especially pants! I always find at least one item in my box that I love that I can't wait to wear!

As a petite woman finding off the rack clothing is a challenge. This company has consistently been responsive, attentive and sensitive to my responses and requests. I had intended to just ‘give them a try’. I now find myself excited to receive the new package of goodies. The quality of the garments has been excellent.

For being a woman who is only 5 feet tall - I have always had a hard time finding the right sizes to fit my small body. Short Story circumvents this process for me and I don't need to get my clothes tailored anymore. They know my size, my style, and preferences. I have saved tons of hours looking for clothes that fits my body and as a busy professional and mom, this is so worthwhile. Thank you ShortStory!!

I updated this review on 8/4. Customer service has been very helpful since. Though I'm disappointed in the pants quality the clothes overall were pretty good choices for a first box and I'll probably try the service again. I kept one outfit from the box which was OK initially but the linen pants tore after only 1 wear. Keep in mind they were loose fitting and didn't snag on anything. I just randomly had a hole in the inner thigh area after 1 wear in my $70-$80 linen pants. A couple of weeks later they charged me for a shirt I did NOT keep. Very disappointed.

I returned a box of clothes worth $536...The company said they never received it and after a inquiry by my bank they sent the bank a letter saying I authorized the delivery and they never got the clothes I sent back...The bank reversed my credit and now I am $536 in the hole and no clothes to show for it...If you are returning clothes be sure to take a picture of the package or you may end up like me
