This is not for the store itself its to do with one single pharmacy staff I've had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with the most unsatisfactory and poor customer service I have ever experienced for any business anywhere in the United States as an adult its been so distasteful! I still kept them as my pharmacy because they had later open hours and open 7 days a week that was my ONLY reason or after my 1st month I would have left. The opening pharmacist or assistant you have the unfortunate luck she always is the one to a swear the phone you can already hear in her tone she obviously has her intolerable and rude like attitude like your wrong to start for calling the pharmacy and already a deep loud sigh comes through the phone my first time I do not know this woman or anything about them and I go from a smile and wanting to be my cheerful friendly self and say good morning how are you, I hear "This isn't a line for conversation, its a business line what do you need!?" Right there made me pull my phone away and look at it as if surely I'd dialed the wrong line, no not so. I continue ok then I have some medications that were sent there this past Thursday and want to make sure they are ready before I go to pick them up, I hear a other rude breathe escape her prudish mouth, "well first How do I know that I don't know your name date of birth and if they were even sent here or even due to be filled in the first place so you will need to tell me your name then date of birth and understand you aren't the only person having medication filled from us" now this is Monday at 10:30am it had been 5 days I patiently waited before bothering to call and check, she then says what medicine is it your wanting to know is ready anyway?" I named 2 of my psychiatric medications then I hear her trademark gush of rude air escape her mouth and a dry "OH the blank blank blank is why your in such a hurry for me to stop what I'm doing to answer your abrupt call and rushing to find out of we have THAT medication of course! Ok wow lady im a new customer its been 5 days im kind and courteous through each discriminatory I sult she's already thrown out 6 or 7 in the 2 minutes She's had me on the phone, then I hear "just hold", I'm seething by then and biting my cheeks to keep from blowing a few choice words into the phone, after quite a long hold she loudly picks the phone back up yes well the one you were so worried about getting was not due until yesterday anyway but yes we have your other medications you weren't even concerned about the others" well lady you never gave me the chance to say anything g for myself from all the rude sighs and moans gritting through your teeth to allow me to ask or even say anything! Then she says but you will just have to wait u til after 4 o'clock to pick them all up because I don't have time to stop just for your blank blank blank a narcotic thats highly addictive which I'm sure you are aware!" Like are you kidding me. I want to scream so many profanities at this hateful employee but I'm a brand new customer and it was just her I had the nightmare of an experience with maybe she has her period, doubtful she sounds like the tone suits her all day everyday she's got it down so well!! Almost 3 years later trying to skip Monday and Tuesday mornings every month but get her no matter when she's still the same distasteful rude worst employee I've ever seen or heard of!! And I'm still polite but today that was just it!!! She's overstepping and downright unbearable and I'm going far as I can to report her and these instances 25+ times !! No more and I've talked to countless other customers that can't stand her hateful tone either. You are in customer service with people experiencing all sorts of illnesses and thats what you do professionally you should change your career.

The cashiers at ShopRite Lawrence, NJ are rude and just don't care They're doing you a favor in going to that ShopRite. Guess, the forgot that grocery shopping is very competitive and I'll NEVER go there again.

I love to shop at Shoprite, but I do have some concerns. I bought peaches and nectarines a few times and found they were hard and black inside. These fruits are not as soft and juicy as before, so I had to throw them out. Organic Lemons and grapes that were seedless why is this?

Awful. They were three hours late, couldn't find a lot of stuff in store (frozen pea, chicken thighs, sparkling water), made no substitutions (neapolitan ice-cream) even though I checked that they would substitute these items. I ended up going into store in the afternoon and - surprise - found all the items that were supposedly not available. I won't be using again.

Living birds pooping on produce. Dead ones found by the meat section. Expired meds. False Advertisement. Staff too wide to physically move or assist and too illiterate to read false advertisements. Dirty as heck and smelly bathrooms.

PSA: I sent this communication to ShopRite's USA and South African "Leadership" Teams and NEVER received a response. That says it all about this RACIST and Horrible Company. Good evening, ShopRite (USA) Executive Leadership, I am sorry to email you on the weekend. However, I had a horrific "customer service" experience at the Delran, NJ ShopRite this morning. I have no faith at all that my customer service concerns will be addressed at the store level or any local leadership level. Thus, I am hoping that your Executive Team can at least hold the staff, at this ShopRite, accountable for the horrific "customer service" that I received as per my email below. To me, it is very unprofessional and unethical that the "leadership" at the Delran, NJ ShopRite allows their staff to be lazy and disrespect not only consumers but your corporate mission: ShopRite’s mission is to “Care Deeply About People, Helping Them To Eat Well And Be Happy®”, aiming to provide a satisfying and convenient shopping experience while supporting the well-being of customers and their communities The above mission was NOT AT ALL on display when I patronized the ShopRite in Delran, NJ today. As I stated below, the store "leaders" and staff will retaliate against me and not provide any accountability nor address my concerns regarding my ShopRite at Delran, NJ experience today. I do not view any team member at this store as an honest and ethical adherer of your corporate philosophy to "Care Deeply About People." I would appreciate an email or letter (I can provide my home address to the Executive Team) acknowledging that my complaint will be addressed from the Executive Corporate Level. I had a winning lottery ticket for $200.00. I went to Delran, NJ ShopRite to cash it out at 9:30am. They had signage up at the customer service desk about the lottery only available at the machines. I thought that was weird since it was 9:30am, and all the ShopRite stores that I have patronized over the last decade or so (Parsippany, West Orange, West Caldwell, Mt. Laurel and Cinnaminson) open their lottery services at 8:00am. So, I asked a staff member there if the lottery services were available. She snapped at me, "The Lottery is not open." I was taken aback by her tone and disrespect. I chose to not address and just leave the store. If I had caused a scene there because of her disrespect, they would have called the police on me and the police in Delran, NJ to date do NOT like us African Americans. This staff member was being lazy and approved by management to NOT provide services to customers which I am sure is against corporate policy. I am not seeking anything here. I am just disappointed that the services in the Delran, NJ ShopRite are NOT available to all customers at the approved times. I will avoid using this ShopRite going forward. Please do better ShopRite.
