It has taken a long time to get my order

I thought the box was really great but would be better with more of a variety of products.

I am in love with this brand. Best subscription box ever. Everything I got was perfect for my skin tone and preferences. Highly recommend

The one focallure palette that I did get which was the sunrise was stunning I get compliments every time I make up a look from it which is really awesome! The baby box on the other hand wasn't really meant for me probably for somebody a little bit younger might be nice if you guys would ask people's preferences and Taylor their boxes to their preferences like a lot of the other prescription Beauty services do so people will appreciate what you send them a lot more! Just my opinion.

This is a fantastic fabulous beauty box. The items are so luxurious and wonderful. I was so excited and amazed after getting the little fiddly boxes I've gotten from other companies. Even the box is better!

I’ve been a dedicated customer for over a year and written very favorable reviews in support of Focallure’s products. What originally attracted me to the brand was its cruelty-free status, which the company continues to advertise. After placing my last order, however, I realized that shipping has moved to China which leads me to believe that production must have moved to China as well. Anyone who shops cruelty-free knows that animal testing of cosmetics is standard and required by China’s government. I cancelled my order and have switched to a legitimate cruelty-free brand.

I’ll start by saying that the products themselves were decent, however, my review is so low because my experience with their customer service team (or “Customer Happiness Engineers” as they call them). I reached out to cancel my subscription after the free trial box - as others have stated in their reviews, they have a hidden policy that signing up for the free trial box meant you agreed to pay for a second box (when I signed up I saw that I’d be signing up for a subscription but could cancel at any time). Other reviewers have updated their reviews to say they’ve updated this policy. Within 24 hours of emailing to cancel I received a response asking me to explain why I was cancelling. I responded, explaining that I’d been wanting to try a subscription box service and thought it’d be a good opportunity to test one out but I unfortunately lost my job and needed to cancel all unnecessary subscriptions to save money. Then I received a response from a different “Customer Happiness Engineer” telling me that my order (which I’d already received and hadn’t asked about at any point) had shipped and sent me the tracking information. There were also some typos in the email (for example this persons email signature showed their title as “Customer Happines Engeneer”) which raised some red flags and harkened back to another scam site I’d recently dealt with. I responded to this email explaining that they weren’t addressing the reason I was writing and that I was trying to cancel my subscription. I received another email from the second individual who responded that I couldn’t cancel because of their policy about agreeing to purchase a second box when signing up for the free trial one (this was the first I’d heard of this policy). I replied, explaining my reasons for cancelling yet again. After 24 hours, I finally received an answer from a third individual sending me a link to a cancellation form. I filled it out and submitted it, thinking my Focallure headache was finally over. BUT, shortly after submitting the cancellation form, I received an email confirming a new order!!! A few minutes after that I received a confirmation of cancellation but it appears to be that it cancelled my subscription following the second box - even though I explicitly stated that I did not want the second box and didn’t want to be charged for it. I’ve reached out to them again asking for clarification. I also froze the credit card that is connected to my account and if I’m charged regardless I’ll contest the charge with my credit card company. Overall this feels very much like a scam. My experience with them had been TERRIBLE. While, yes, I received the intended products, I was scammed into spending far more than I intended and thought I would. As a final note (and note to self), before making any purchases make sure the company has verified Google reviews and Facebook recommendations. As someone who has worked in digital marketing, I know that companies will push to get their customers to leave positive reviews on Google and Facebook to help market themselves as a trustworthy company that people think positively of. I’ve noticed that companies I’ve had a negative experience with, that are not at all what they claim to be, just so happen to have Facebook recommendations deactivated and/or don’t have any Google reviews, which makes it seem like they have something to hide. And guess what? Focallure doesn’t have Facebook recommendations activated and doesn’t have any Google reviews. That’s really shame on me for not doing my research before making a purchase with them. I should have known better.
