I ordered a clearance seat
I ordered a clearance seat, and between online and over the phone, it indicated that it would fit in my truck. After I ordered, I hadn't received any notification that the order went through, or any shipping information. I called and found that my e-mail was incorrectly entered. I was informed that they were unable to correct, but they forwarded the order confirmation to me. A few weeks went by, and I still haven't received anything, I called again, and was informed that the sub-frame was incompatible with my truck. They called back after a bit, and informed me that a new sub-frame would be built (no charge). [Thank you]. After another week, I called back again, because I hadn't received the seats, and was informed that the sub-frame wasn't built yet (got lost in the shuffle); I was understanding, and wasn't in that big of a rush, so no problem. I called again, the day after I was told it would ship (I hadn't received an e-mail, but expected this due to the incorrect e-mail on file [and was told that it couldn't be changed]). Was informed that they were a couple days behind; again, not a big deal. A few days later, I called again, and spoke with John Jasso, who informed me of the updated ship date, and he was even able to change the e-mail on my profile so that I could receive notifications. I received the notification, and received my seats. (Thank you, again). When I went to install, that same day; I noticed that I was sent seat belt brackets (to install the seat belts between the 3 seats); The instructions said nothing about the seat belts, I called, and was informed "that if they told me where/how to install the seat belts, it would be a liability". They said to "go to a mechanic"..... I am one..... Personally, selling seats, and not informing the customer how to install the seat belts to meet Federal Safety Standards is the liability.... Overall: The time/delay in getting the seats; I can life with (I wasn't in a big rush). The e-mail mistake; happens sometimes. The rebuilt frame; good customer service. The seat belt bracket issue; Not Good!
