Free & timely delivery was nice! Contents of package was correct . Using this product to better hear a Parkinson's patient did not work great, barely ok. In my experience, the device picked up distant speakers talking normally better than the patient right beside me. And there's an annoying sensitivity to movement of the cord when use the h/phones & earbuds, which makes for excessive line noise & crackling when the cord moves (often). Did I need to pick a higher end & more expensive device? Not ready to try again:(

Dear John, Thank you for your message. I understand that you purchased the Response with a so-called omnidirectional microphone, which picks up sound from all directions. This can work very well in certain situations, but in your case, it sounds as though you would benefit from a directional microphone function that focuses more on the person you are listening to while suppressing surrounding voices and background noise. Our Mino model offers both omnidirectional and directional microphone modes, which I believe would be particularly useful in the situation you described. You can use the omnidirectional mode when you want to hear sounds and conversations around you, and switch to the directional mode when you want to focus on a specific person and reduce distracting sounds from the surroundings. Alarm is performing well for third day. Much superior and easier to use than the "Sonic Boom" alarm purchased through Amazon. That alarm only worked for about 2 weeks. Hopefully, your unit will live longer.
