The ordering process was very easy and nice, the product arrived a day sooner than expected and that was very nice, especially with medical-related items. But the boot itself caused me a lot of discomfort. The accompanying literature was less than helpful. The brochure did not have any text to explain the right way to adjust the boot for comfort; just a line drawing that was not helpful to me at all. I wore the boot for less than 6 hours because it hurt so badly. The front of the boot (the plastic part) banged into my shin with every step and I couldn't see how to eliminate this. I tried tightening it...nope. I tried loosening it...nope. I used the little foam pads to pad the area...nope. As I say, the literature was not helpful in any way. Then the part of the boot that hit my calf on the outside of my leg (between ankle and calf) rubbed painfully with every step. It chafed and I still have a red, rough patch there. Now, I was almost at the end of needing a boot because I'd used a used boot for over 6 weeks already. This was the taller style and it was comfortable from the first minute I put it on. The reason I switched was that the original, taller boot was wearing out and had developed a spot that poked my calf higher up. I wanted to be "booted" for a few more weeks, so I ordered the lower boot from your company, believing that the shorter one would meet my needs and be lighter and nicer overall. I do quite a lot of walking at my job and I was in misery all day; even ended up giving up and walking in my fluffy socks part of the day. I determined to return the boot ASAP. The return was not quite as easy as the purchase; the customer service rep was not pleasant and we were required to pay the return postage, even though I'd had the boot less than 24 hours at this point, and the boot was barely worn. But I did pay the postage, and returned the product in less than 24 hours.

Brace is not effective. Actually made my foot hurt worse. Return policy says cannot return products if worn, but how are you supposed to know if it works unless you wear it? Do not plan to order from this company again.

Slow in processing, slow in delivery. Adequate product for the price. Purchase 40 items of the same from Amazon for half the price, ordered after I ordered from you and recieved thier product ahead of yours. Will never order from your agency again.

The product I bought was fine. The customer service is lousy. Be aware and careful buying from Shop-Ortho because if there is a problem you may be able to leave a message, maybe, and the company will never call you back. I only gave two stars because I did receive the correct product promptly, but I had questions and no one would answer or return a phone call. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I ordered a knee brace on July 9, add said 3 business days shipping. Well it didn't go out for shipping until July 13 and tracking says it won't be here until July 19 at which time I will be on a flight to Virginia where I will be for 6 weeks. I will have to buy one when I get to Virginia. I should have listened to my husband and used Amazon, they deliver when they say they will. Very disappointed and won't use Shop Orthopedics again.

Took six days to ship. I was very disappointed in the delay.

I feel bad giving only two stars, because in the end your store did good by me. I got immediate reimbursement of my money, once it became obvious that I would not get my ice machine on time. However, I was promised that the machine would arrive on time for the day of my surgery and it actually arrived two days after - not a great thing. Again, it was remedied and the return was painless, but I wish the machine arrived on time and I was spared the stress of dealing with it on the day of my surgery. Thank goodness for my husband.

Brace was great....good price, delivered on time. However, my credit card was compromised after I used this site. Beware.
