stop sending me this product. this company will not stop sending me product. I have tried to cancel and the company keeps sending me product, that I don't want. This might be ran by scammers that's desperate for money cause they will not stop sending me product and I have not authorized them to charge my bank account and I don't want the product.

The cream stayed on better than I expected during a warm afternoon. I did let it dry completely before putting clothes on, which seems to make a big difference.

I ordered the Shimma Body Glow, but the bottle I received looked completely different from what was advertised on their website. While their customer service did respond within 48 hours and apologized for the packaging difference, changes like this should be clearly communicated to customers upfront on the site rather than surprising them upon delivery. They claimed there is no difference in the product itself, but who can trust that now, especially for the cost? Good customer communication is key, and unfortunately, this wasn't what I expected. Because of this discrepancy, I have requested a full refund. This will be my first and last time ordering from them.

Be careful with making orders from this company! First, the product doesn’t work as advertised; second you’ll get subsequent charges for subscriptions that you didn’t make; third, their customer care agent Nyla would lie that the products have been shipped, even when you request for a cancellation within few minutes of order confirmation notification. Nyla, lied that the order had been packaged, processed, and shipped even when the tracking information on shimma.com shows that the product was not shipped. Nyla went ahead to offer 50% refund and 50% discounts for 3 subscriptions. It’s pathetic that a company would rather prefer to gaslight a customer, rather than provide a practical honest resolution. Based on an advertisement that appeared while I was scrolling through YouTube, I decided to purchase a product from Shimma that claimed to cover spots without transferring onto clothing or leaving stains. On August 29, 2026, I placed an order for Shimma™ Black Seed Oil Body Coverage Perfector × 2 through their website (shimma.com). I received the products, but they did not perform as advertised. However, I accepted the loss and did not even bother going through the hassle of returning the products for a refund. Today, October 10, 2026, at 12:04 PM, I received an email from Shimma confirming an order and a notification that my credit card had been charged. Knowing that I had not placed another order, I visited the website and discovered a six-week subscription order. I do not recall signing up for such a subscription or interacting with any interface on the website indicating that I was agreeing to a recurring six-week subscription, except it was hidden by default somewhere in the order. I eventually figured how to cancel the subscription, which is difficult to find under the “Manage Subscription” option. At 12:19 PM on the same day of being charged for the order, I immediately sent an email explaining that I had not placed the order and was unaware of the subscription. I requested that the order be canceled, especially since it had not yet been processed or shipped. At 2:03 PM that same day, I received a response from someone named Nyla in Customer Care Support, claiming that the product had already been packed, processed, and shipped and that they were therefore unable to cancel the order. The representative went on to offer me a 50% refund and a 50% discount on my next three subscription orders. I subsequently returned to the website and tracked the order using the order number provided. The tracking information clearly indicated that the order had not been shipped and was not even ready for shipment. At 2:16 PM, I sent a follow-up email pointing out that the tracking information available on their website contradicted their claim that the order had already been shipped. I urged them to do the right thing and cancel the order. At 2:56 PM, I sent a screenshot of their webpage showing that the order was neither ready for shipment nor shipped. As of now, I have yet to receive a response or any indication that they intend to refund the charge made to my credit card. Providing false information about the shipment of an order that has not been shipped, while refusing to cancel the order and issue a full refund, is highly suspicious and raises serious concerns about the company's business practices.

This product does not work on lighter tones, I message the company contact info and they responded without an resolution, I voice my opinion about the product working maybe for darker skin tones and that most of there advertising is for beautiful dark skin women not caramel or honey colored black women and they had no response, which allowed me to believe that the product work more effectively on darker skin and the product has oil in it so how does oil and makeup coverage work together to cover up dark marks/spider veins . I was very disappointed in the product and company. And please don’t respond back with a post underneath, about your company is so apologetic and the product is made for the beauty standards and takes theses matters very seriously and blah , blah , blah…

I can’t even begin to explain the way I thought this product was going to leave my skin looking. Once I scrubbed and followed all the directions to get that radiant glowing skin that was described as advertised. Nope 👎🏽 nothing glowed! Completely dual looking skin. Horrible product. I will be asking for a refund.

Extremely disappointed with this product. It is highly overpriced, and the shade range is completely off. I bought four different colors trying to find a match, and every single one looked horrible on my skin. Definitely not worth the money it is false advertising for African American skin. It does not match African American skin. The chemists must be Caucasian, cause they got it all wrong.
