I had a wonderful experience working with Shemmassian Academic Consulting. I used the service for my residency application and was paired with a great physician who helped me through the entire process from writing my personal statement to interview preparation. Working with my Shemmassian consultant from start to finish on my ERAS application gave me the tools I needed to be confident in submitting my application. I received more interviews than I even expected and I feel like I have the tools to do well on all of them. I would highly recommend working with Shemmassian Academic Consulting and am very thankful for the tools they gave me moving into residency interview season.

Last year, I only got one interview invite to my state medical school and was waitlisted for the entire year before ultimately getting rejected in late spring. I decided that my writing needed work so I decided to work with Shemmassian Consulting so that the same thing wouldn't happen again. With the help of the Shemmassian crew and Dr. Dzuali, I have tripled the number of interview invites received, and got the acceptance call from my TOP choice school on the very first possible day of acceptance (October 15th)! These two cycles have been night and day, and I couldn't be more thankful to Shemmassian for changing my life!

Adam was my tutor and over a few weeks, he helped me raise my MCAT score by 11 points! He was patient, incredibly well versed in MCAT subject matter, and provided the structure and support I needed to improve my MCAT approach and performance. I could not have done this without him. Before purchasing my tutoring plan, I virtually met with Dr.Shemmassian himself(!) to discuss my needs. I was concerned about matching into my desired speciality because of my non-traditional career course. Shemmassian helped me show residencies that this non-traditional path made me a stronger candidate than I would be otherwise. They greatly improved my application and interviewing skills.

Shemmassian Academic Consulting is the best out there! I've been reading their articles online for years and found them to be so helpful. I recently used their services to get help with my medical school secondaries and I could not have asked for a better experience. Dr. Dasani was my consultant and she was exceptional! She has such an impressive background so I felt I could trust her word. She was also really thorough and quick to respond. I can't recommend this service enough!
