(PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT…

(PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT PURCHASING) I’m perplexed in a way, I purchased a pair of Oliver Peoples for $400 under the retail price, but on the flip side, the listing was described as having wear on the frame but the lenses being in excellent condition. The truth was the lenses arrived with very noticeable scratching in the middle of the lens. I was fully anticipating the frame damage as I felt it was captured rather well through the pictures, but the pictures used for the lenses had to have been older because they don’t show the chip in the middle of the right lens. I will say this, the glasses shipped incredibly quickly, I did receive a fast reply from Shades Review after I had asked them a question regarding my order. The frames and lenses are all 100% legitimate as well so there’s no worry of receiving a counterfeit. And despite the frame/lens damage, I love the pair to death and its easily in the Top 3 for best sunglasses I’ve ever purchased, all I wish was that the scratches on the lenses were reported honestly. So while the service and overall buying experience is a 5/5 along with ShadesReview’s channel for reviewing the glasses, I will have to knock off some points on the review simply because the listing described the lenses as brand new and they arrived with physical scratches.

Hey sorry to hear the lens condition did not meet your expectations. We don't sell many used sunglasses on the website but whenever we do we try describe the condition the best we possibly can. We also take high resolution photos of the lenses to help show the condition as well. The way our process works is we take photos of the actual product you will be receiving and then we put it in the case never to see the sun again until the buyer opens the package in the mail. That being said taking photos of imperfections of lens is extremely hard but, I can guarantee you that no more where was put on them after the photos were taken. In the future we will take more time closely reviewing the lenses to give a more accurate description for our used pairs thanks for the feedback. - SR
