OUR MISSIONOutfitting & Inspiring The Everyday Explorer™We are more than just a product, we are a vision to help others live a balanced life.THE STORYSRL began as a mindset that turned into a best selling book called “The 7 Rocks Of Life” based on a true story. A year later the founder went on a trip to Africa to help build schools & was able to donate 100 shirts to kids. When he saw how happy the kids were receiving new clothes it made him realize what clothes can do for the human soul.GIVING BACKThat next year he went on a ski trip to Lake Tahoe with his brother. Steve was able to be in nature, surrounded by water, rocks & mountains with views for days. Seeing how adventure can help the human spirit he decided to launch SRL as a leisure & apparel company.

Buyer Beware!! Poor Quality, Zero Customer Service....I bought one of their sweatshirts on…
I bought one of their sweatshirts on Facebook. When it arrives, the quality was mediocre. After a few washes (and hung to dry), the fabric balled up under the arms and on the chest. I have tried to contact them in Facebook, their website, and email but they do not respond AT ALL. When I posted a public statement about this, they instantly deleted it 3 TIMES!!! Horrible business!!!!

All Hype and Half Truths
I ordered Seven Rock Life's 'butter hoodie' (even though I thought $49 was ridiculously high) because I had been getting slammed with their advertising and I KNEW you could get these EXACT hoodies from a wholesale discount site online where they are priced around $19 for the casual buyer. I guess I was just curious because the company acts so positive and balanced so I had to see if they were honest as well. I asked them a few questions including where are the hoodies and joggers manufactured. Every question you ask them is answered very vaguely until I pinned them down (I didn't ask where YOU are located, I asked where the product is made) and was told their products are made in the USA. I own products made all over the world but when you are posing as an American manufacturer, using this narrative to sell your resale purchases AND marking the prices way up it is completely unethical and you are wasting people's hard earned money that they could be spending in their local economy. They buy these elsewhere, cut out the Independent Trading Company tag and stamp them (sometimes) with their Seven Rock Life screenprint. The other website where you can buy these even says the camo colorway doesn't hold screenprint and after several washes, sure enough, the SRL brand washes off (camo).
After receiving an email asking me to leave a review I left them an honest and nice review on their website. I gave the hoodie three stars, attached a picture showing the pilling and said they were soft but probably wouldn't be ordering another. They didn't bother posting that review. It seems only 4 and 5 star reviews get through.
The hoodies themselves are, in fact, the exact same ones you can find on the wholesale clothing site. They are made in China and are no better quality than your normal sweats you can pick up at your local discount store. They are soft, but no softer than any other similar blend and definitely not cashmere or boucle soft. They pill after a few washes and some colors pill worse than others. The tops don't shrink too bad but the joggers will shrink in length if you're not careful. They're not horrible hoodies but they're nothing special either. Definitely shop around if you are looking for a better price for the exact same product (the tie-dye hoodies, butter hoodies, butter joggers, and you can find an awesome comfy dress for around $22) on other sites including the big one you can find everything on. ;)

The fabric is very thin and cheap…
The fabric is very thin and cheap feeling. The zip hoodie has an unfinished hem, like if the hem of your jeans came out. It is soft, don't get me wrong. You can get soft from target for 12.99 for the same quality. Overpriced. And beware the hidden $10 return fee

Well where do I start
Well where do I start. The tags were cut off in the shirts. Claumed all American products. But these ass clowns qere dumb enough to leave the cut off tags. In the box.

Misleading quality
My husband ordered a shirt for both of us and we were shocked to see that there are obvious tags cut off in the inside. This lead us to believe the company is buying a cheaper shirt and rebranding it at a higher price and we were right! We googled basic descriptors about the shirts and found them available online for half the price. Frauds!!

Overpriced hoodies, company appears to be hiding something
UPDATE on 09/15/2023: More than 2 years later, I'm still receiving emails from this company. I have "unsubscribed" several times, but continue to receive emails from them. I have resorted to labeling them as spam so they don't clutter up my inbox. I've never had this issue with any other company, which is further proof to me that this company is sketchy.
I ordered two of their "butter hoodies" at a somewhat discounted price a few weeks ago. It took them a bit longer to send them than I expected, but given the pandemic and its impact on mail-order companies the wait time wasn't unreasonable.
The hoodies themselves, though, turned out to be nothing special and are, in my opinion, vastly overpriced. I've received sweatshirts of equal or better quality from other retailers at lower prices. The oddest thing to me, however, and the reason I would not recommend them to anyone else is that the label inside the shirts which list fabric content and care instructions have been cut out. This seems really sketchy to me, and made me wonder what they are hiding.
I think I discovered the answer when I did a search and found that hoodies looking exactly the same as the ones I bought can be purchased elsewhere at less than half the price being charged by Seven Rock Life. An expensive lesson learned, and a mistake I will not make again.
