I thought I had found something good until I booked a mental health appointment after not being able to be treated for months. The appointment was cancelled on their end with no warning. I signed in to join the appointment and it was just gone. They will not let me update my email address (saying it is due to HIPPA) without cancelling my entire account, being reimbursed my monthly fee and setting up a whole new account where all my past appointment information will be gone, when I add the correct email address in the actual appointment booking, they still don't use it and nobody knows how to pick up a phone apparently. Nobody will respond to my messages or phone calls even though they state they will within 24 hours. Let me remind you this was a mental health appointment. Pretty important. Luckily I wasn't in such a bad way as to want to hurt myself or anyone else, but the doctor that chose not to show up sure the hell didn't know that. Now I am left feeling like I am not worthy of treatment for some reason, not worth their time and that I am absolutely not important nor is my mental/physical health and wellbeing. Thanks a lot. Sesame Care should NOT be offering mental health treatment to people. If you actually need real mental health care, DO NOT USE SESAME.

Sesame is one huge scam. I used sesame as a way to get antibiotics after recovering from the flu and then getting worse. It is a very common and basic visit. I was basically told that there was no way that I could be treated without a chest X-ray, a physical exam or a lab results confirming that I have a bacterial infection. This is crazy. The whole point is that it is online. I appreciate that not all diseases can be treated via Telehealth, but this was not the case. I was asking for antibiotics, not controlled substances. She also asked if I had tested negative for the flu yet... No, cause that's not something people do. At one point, the NP asked my allergies and I told her, then she sat quietly typing for a while. When I asked if everything was okay, she said she was just documenting our conversation. When I asked her what notes she was writing in MY MEDICAL RECORDS, she told me she was not legally required to tell me and that if I wanted to know, I could request it from customer service. This is definitely not the level of care anyone should have to deal with.

Don’t waste your time! Waited on line 45 minutes for a no show. Customer service blamed it on our internet connection … ha! If that were the case then why were we able to connect to link that were we sent for video and it showed us connected. No one could call and touch base with us to say dr wasn’t going to make appointment or there might be a problem? As I said above … don’t waste your precious time!

I had a small stomach bug and had to call out of work but needed a medical note saying when I can return to work. I’m short I needed an assessment and then that’s it I felt fine by the time of appointment and no this is not for work workers comp. So I proceed to make an appointment and after 45 minutes the provider doesn’t show up. Then I try to get a refund only to be told that this is out of her scope of practice… I work in the medical field how is this out of the scope of practice?? It was such a waste of time don’t bother using this service.

Prescribed wrong meds. I was angry and they cancelled my appointment without solving the issue. I contact the doctor directly and she was waiting on the video chat and sesame did everything they could to not fix the problem and just drop me. My body is my temple. They abused me and left me out to dry over a mistake. Mistakes happen. Fix it.

The PA, Toni Deer, was extremely rude. Said she wouldn't refill my prescriptions because there wasn't time, yet wanted to talk about non relevant topics(nothing to do with my refills). The whole premise of Sesame is to save time and get refills. This wasted my time and I still have to wait to see my Primary(in Feb 2023) to get my prescriptions refilled. Redbox RX is a better service.

I would stay away from this place it seems like a scam. Created an appointment because my son said his ear was hurting and he had a low grade fever. I put all of this in the original appointment memo. Paid the $37 and waited for the appointment. The DR joined and with in 3 minutes stated to have the school nurse look at him. This could have been said when I made the original appointment and they could have refunded my money. Absolute scam and I wouldn't recommend them at all.

It should not be this hard to pause a membership briefly. I'm outright cancelling membership now. What a joke.
