You need a postive flu test to get prescribed Tami flu
The provider won't prescribe Tamiflu even though I explained that both kids got flu-like systems for a few days and I started to feel too. AMANDA STEWART is the provider and she insisted that I need to have a positive flu test for Tami flu prescription. If I were to have a positive test, why would I use a virtual appointment instead of the clinic who gave me the test? The CDC guideline also states" Confirmation of influenza virus infection by diagnostic testing is not required for decisions to prescribe antiviral medication. Decision-making should be based upon signs and symptoms consistent with influenza illness and epidemiologic factors." What a waste of time and money!

Unhappy and wasted a lot of M.
Stole my money!
Billed me for a visit but the link failed to connect me and the doctor did not even bother to simply pick up the phone and call. They are not wanting to refund my money I have been denied and waiting on an escalation. This is such a joke. My money should have been refunded immediately without question. It looks like the management at Sesame Care are complete crooks. Please avoid this company at all cost.

They sent the wrong prescription
They sent the wrong prescription. I notified them several days ago. They said that they were going to "escalate" it, several days ago, but it still hasn't been corrected.

Run around from customer "service"
They don't have customer care, I'm not even sure that what I get isn't from a bot. Most of it is copy and paste, and it never has addressed my basic questions.
I'm looking for the hydrocortisone treatment for fibromyalgia that benefits on the average 76%, some zero and some 100%.
When I asked if any of their doctors prescribe hydrocortisone, because most are unaware of it and only use it for deficiency diseases, they never use the word hydrocortisone in their reply. What I do get is that they don't prescribe opiates and a few other medications. Well, I didn't ask about that, so don't tell me about it. I know you also don't provide haircuts as well, but I don't care about that either.
I literally cannot get them to say yes we have doctors who prescribe it, no we don't have doctors who prescribe it, or we have no way of telling if we have doctors who prescribe it.
What I did get in one reply from a manager, and we're talking eight different interactions at this point, is that I need to go and try each doctor one at a time until I find one.
But it's a great idea of mine that we should be able to ask that sort of question from the individual doctors by email, but it isn't available at this time. I did reach out to one by searching for him online, they said it wasn't possible but it's possible. But I got no reply.
They brag about there's no run around, you go to the doctor and you get taken care of. Sure, if you have a normal problem.
but if you have anything the least bit unusual, basically you're told to get a different run around: that you should pay each doctor that you go to one of the time based on not enough information, and no way to contact them, without spending a lot of time online searching for their business email, spend money, find out that they don't know enough about your condition, then find another doctor and do the same thing.
So I ended up paying a lot more money to the scientist who came up with this treatment, who then got a teledoc himself who he knows does this to prescribe me the medication, and it's working.
I reach out to Sesame one more time, and say all I need is someone to continue my treatment, who uses hydrocortisone already so they will not require me to teach them the protocols, that was actually from a different letter. The idea of spending hundreds of dollars to teach someone what I've already taught to a doctor at Kaiser for free, who found it would be effective but that Kaiser won't cover it or pay for the referral because it's so new . . . I already have a prescription, all I want to do is continue it, and they cannot, and I suspect it is cannot, figure out which doctors do and don't give that treatment.
But when I ask which doctors do this or if they can find out which doctors do this, they don't say, this is not something we can do. They never say no, they say it's my job to contact doctors, there's no guarantees.
in other words, they want their money. They don't get paid if the doctor doesn't get paid, and the more times I go to different doctors to try to get a treatment that is fairly new and most of them won't be aware of, the better for them. The fact that I'm spending hundreds and could probably spend over $1,000 and not get any care doesn't matter, because they're getting their money. In fact, the more doctors I have to go to to try to get treatment, and the less success I have meaning I have to go to more and more doctors, the better it is for them.
They will not give me the answer that their software probably doesn't make it possible for them to answer, "No, we do not have this information" - that is what is most maddening.
That and the fact that I asked direct questions and I got answers to someone else's questions.
I don't think a single reply used the word hydrocortisone, and almost every question I asked had the word hydrocortisone in it.
