I would caution anyone interested to contact your provider first before Sesame to avoid the discounted $ 179 fee apparently discounted for Costco members. My appointment was not good and the PA must of been having a bad day, not helpful but we all have bad days. I only have about 15 lbs. to lose but they backhandedly encourage you to lie about your BMI to get approved. They lead you to believe they will help with your insurance but then tell you to call them yourself. They certainty are not the only game in town for GLP-1 weight loss go somewhere else or directly to your provider. In my humble opinion. My experience was not good. They refuse to refund in full.

SCAMMISH PAID $179 for Weight Loss. Met w Provider with the hour! However after MANY texts and emails assured that My Pharmacy was sent the prescription, I gave up after as many assurances by my Pharmacist that nothing had ever been received. Refund Policy is a joke - within 3 hrs of Provider visit when in good faith you allow at least 24 hrs for the RX to be filled. Also expect same issues w renewal cancelation. Im EXTREMELY frustrated with this experience and will reach out to COSTCO to file a complaint. Good Luck All.

My provider solicited me through her personal email to purchase compounded GLP-1 drugs through a personal telehealth page. The online weight management program feels like a scam- a 3 minute phone call & solicitation to spend more money with a different program after investing $199 for 3 months on Sesame.

My video appointment experience with SesameCare was so ridiculously bad it could have been used as a farcical skit for Saturday Night Live. I contacted SesameCare due to their online marketing that says you can get a simple antibiotic refill with a quick online appointment. This is what I needed: round 2 of an antibiotic for my finger infection. Round 1, prescribed by a local Urgent Care, helped to partially heal the infection. However, a little more medication and time was needed. (Urgent Care requires a full visit payment just to write a simple prescription refill). I set the appointment with a Dr. Joseph Isibor for early afternoon on Saturday a couple of weeks ago. He showed up--ten minutes late--wearing only a white undershirt and unshaved as if he just rolled out of bed. He spoke in a barely understandable gravelly voice that sounded also like he just rolled out of bed, or worse, was drunk. Dr. Isibor barely listened to my simple case. His barely intelligible response, was rude, short and useless, and he wouldn't send the subscription refill to my pharmacy. His manner was so unprofessional that I just ended our pointless session. I then called CareMD, another online provider. Their doctor listened carefully. After our brief and professionally handled call, he sent in the prescription for the refill to my pharmacy. Due to my miserable experience with the ridiculously unprofessional Dr. Isibor, I tried to contact SesameCare customer service several times. First, by online chat--No Response. Then, twice by email--No Response. Then twice by phone call. No one answers when you call their customer service. So, I left a message each time. Of course, you guessed it--No Response. SesameCare gets an "F" as a total failure of a service. There are many better options out there.

*UPDATE TO RESPONSE FROM SESAME* They responded to my review but as you see never offered to provide a full refund. Please I urge you NOT to use this company. They are total crooks. Costco advertised that I could use Sesame for a virtual appointment and then a prescription for semaglutide. You must pay $195 upfront and then you have a call with some Doctor in Beverly Hills. I had the call which was 2 minutes, never a video call just a cellphone call and I was given the prescription. Went to fill it and wouldn’t you know, they are back ordered with no ETA. I wrote and let Sesame know and that this is a complete scam. They didn’t agree and only refunded me $60. DO NOT USE THEM. They will take your money and lie.

Horrible experience. Waited 30 mins and doctor never showed. Unable to get in touch with anyone on the phone or via email to refund my payment or credit account. Extremely unprofessional!

Tried to get an eye infection looked at but the website wouldn't allow none of my browsers video to work at time of appointment. USELESS AND A WASTED 60$. I signed back in on my iPad to try it at 6:11 since they say 15 mins to wait and she had already canceled it.

I have tried to contact sesame through their chat, email and phone number. None of which have gotten results. No agents are available on the phone or in the chat and forget email because it’s Tuesday and I have been emailing since Friday morning with no response. I’ve seen responses here saying that they don’t address concerns in a public forum…well I’ve tried to contact you privately to no avail. No response in well over 24 hours from my provider either. Was finally able to get ahold of someone through the phone line customer service. No refund available since I utilized the messaging after my visit with the provider. The fact that the provider did not respond in days and they promise 24 hour response times doesn’t matter. It’s a bait and switch. Get your money and run. Absolutely criminal. They should be ashamed of themselves!
