Terrible Experience
I started 4 weeks ago. Spoke to PA regarding Semeglutide. He sent my 1st 4 weeks. They charged me for my second month but I didn’t get my meds. Spoke to PA and he said the pharmacy they use doesn’t have my dosage. He didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t call because this was a weekend and they don’t have anyone working. I called on Monday and they said they’d have to check on it. Not 20 minutes later I get an email with a bunch of mumbo jumbo in it that sounds to me like a refund is not happening. In my opinion this is a poorly run company. How do you work with a pharmacy who on your 2nd dosage doesn’t have your dosage?

Beware if you sign up for a weight loss plan
Beware if you sign up for a weight loss plan and they charge you every month but after a couple of months they ignore the requests for refill and make the chat with the provider unavailable. They will not want to refund you money even if they don’t provide service for that month. They refer you to the cancellation policy which states you have to cancel a few days before the charge. But in my case I did not know I won’t get service the next month so how should I know it was best to cancel ahead of time?

I was sent the incorrect dosage of…
I was sent the incorrect dosage of semaglutide. I immediately called the provider and Sesame to notify them of the issue. Sesame refused to correct the problem even with documentation from the provider that the incorrect dosage was sent. Sesame blamed it on the provider and the pharmacy, refused to correct the issue. Then they tried to send a significantly higher dose the following month. Taking a dose that high after not having it for a month would have sent me to the hospital. Sesame was good at communicating in a timely fashion, but their stance was basically that there was nothing they could do. If they are serving as a "middleman" for medical care, they need to ensure that their patients are receiving the correct service and medication. I do not recommend this company for semaglutide and weight loss care.

Dr never submitted my script for antibiotics -spoke to him last evening
It’s Saturday- so customer support is closed
I sent an email no response
Guess I a am SOL
Looked like the doctor was doing double duty when he called-he was in scrubs, and it looked like he was in the hospital
So I’m guessing he got distracted
Not impressed

Beware!! Fraud practices
Used Sesame healthcare for one month and received a prescription from them. Was told by the provider that if I wish to continue service to schedule my next appt at a later date. However, 3 weeks later I was automatically charged for the renewal of the prescription as apart of a “membership” that I was not informed of. When I called Customer Service the same day and explained the situation, they told me that they could only offer me a partial refund. The refund was only 55% of the total charge!! Does that make any sense?? How do you take someone’s money and refuse to give them back the full amount. Would that be considered fraudulent? Beware!!

Subject: Urgent Request for Reimbursement Due to Improper Medication Delivery
Subject: Urgent Request for Reimbursement Due to Improper Medication Delivery
Dear Dr. Muhammad Imran,
I appreciate your prompt response and understanding of my situation. However, I must respectfully reiterate and strengthen my request for reimbursement for the medication delivered under inappropriate circumstances, which has rendered it unsafe for use.
As I explained in my initial email, during my hospitalization for a severe bowel obstruction—a life-threatening condition—I was unable to receive or store the medication appropriately. Upon my discharge, I discovered that the package containing the medication, which requires refrigeration, had been left at my doorstep for an unknown duration in high temperatures.
This mishandling has caused the medication to become compromised and unsafe for use, as it is explicitly stated that refrigeration is necessary to maintain its efficacy. Additionally, my doctor has since advised me to avoid this medication due to its potential side effect of gastroparesis, which poses a significant health risk given my recent medical condition.
I understand your position regarding the general non-returnable nature of medications once dispensed. However, this situation involves extenuating circumstances, including:
1. Improper Delivery Practices: The medication was left at my doorstep despite its requirement for refrigeration, violating standard pharmaceutical guidelines for safe delivery of temperature-sensitive medications.
2. Unforeseen Hospitalization: I was hospitalized for a week, making it impossible for me to retrieve and store the medication appropriately. This was beyond my control.
3. Compromised Medication: As you acknowledged, medication left unrefrigerated for more than 24 hours becomes ineffective and unsafe. This further substantiates that the delivered product is unusable through no fault of my own.
Additionally, I have contacted the pharmacist directly, and they informed me that it is your responsibility as the prescribing doctor to reach out to them for resolution. They specified that you would need to either issue a new prescription or coordinate reimbursement on my behalf. Furthermore, the pharmacist confirmed that Sesame has not contacted them regarding this issue, leaving my case unresolved despite my efforts to address it.
Given these factors, I respectfully request that your team work with the pharmacy or relevant parties to issue a full reimbursement for the medication. This request is not based on a change of mind but on a series of uncontrollable events and medical advice for my safety. I can provide documentation from my healthcare provider confirming my condition and their recommendation to avoid this medication.
I urge you to reconsider my case with these facts in mind and facilitate a resolution. I am willing to escalate this matter if necessary, but I remain hopeful that we can resolve it amicably.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Please let me know how we can proceed.
Sincerely,
Hannah N.
