The doctor refused to do anything for me except a note now I'm outta urgent care money and he says i should go!?! No emesis meds and he only put dehydration at diagnosis.i told him i need for nausea he refused. Scam company. “Dr” prescribed me meds without even listening to what I had to say. Put me on hold on scheduled visit and could barely hear him. Then prescribed a completely different med that I didn’t need. A mental illness med when I need clomid for coming off testosterone. Walmart pharmacy told me it was a really weird call and thought it was a scam. They rejected the prescription after I finally got sesame to correct the medicine. Do not use this company.

I had a terrible experience with this company. I then asked for a refund or to speak with a supervisor. They told me none was available, which I believe was a lie. I wrote a negative review about them on Trust Pilot, and they complained saying the review was fake. I am a real person writing this review and will gladly show any receipts when they dispute it again.

provider missed two consecutive appointments and communication is sparse if it happens at all. they tell you they have availability that day and then don't respond for 9 hours.

I don't know how they possibly have a 4.5 rating, unless they fraudulently posted reviews for their own company. This company is a disaster. I paid the fee for them and the doctor, and the doctor wanted me to get more tests (and charge me for them) when I already had the tests. So I canceled the request, but they won't refund my payment. Total scam!

The doctor himself was fine, but the appointment was useless. The website is very misleading. You pay for the meeting, but there are extra charges if you need any tests ordered. More importantly, those tests will not be covered by insurance because they are not ordered by a doctor on your plan. I would never have set this appointment if that information had been disclosed.

(Update) It’s ridiculous that they reply to all reviews saying “there’s nothing we can do as we value your privacy”. Trustpilot provides a service where companies can ask for use info privately. I used Sesame for a psychiatry visit about a month ago. The doctor called the night before and we spoke for five minutes. Not ideal, but the appointment went ahead. During and after the visit I clearly asked for a superbill so I could file an insurance claim. After a month and more than ten emails with support I still do not have it. The latest reply told me to fill out a form and wait up to thirty calendar days. The platform is easy to use, but failing to provide basic documentation makes it hard to use again or recommend.

Horrible. Doctors get your prescriptions wrong, won’t communicate with you via the chat function to get the problem corrected, ignore requests from the pharmacy to correct it, then customer support tells you that you have to book another appointment to get the doctor to correct their mistake, making you pay twice for the same thing. And when you ask to escalate it because their response doesn’t even make sense they waste your time for the next few weeks being of zero help to correct anything. They also refuse to refund you even though you don’t get what you paid for. I’ve also recently had a provider try to tell me I need to get lab tests four times a year when normally with any other doctor it’s once a year unless something changes such as symptoms or dosage. Sesame used to be great- inexpensive, convenient and efficient. It is no longer any of those things. And it seems they’re trying to find ways to scam you out of more money each visit. Take your money elsewhere. It’s not worth the frustration or the money when there are other virtual services out there.
