Needed a work accommodation note and doctor refused Waste of money and the customer service is crap and refuses to help

I signed up for Sesame’s weight loss service in January 2025 and stopped using it in April 2025. Despite not using the service after April, I was charged $89/month from May through December 2025. When I reached out politely to explain the situation and ask for an exception because the recurring charge wasn’t clear to me at signup, I was told they would not refund any portion of those months. I understand companies have policies, but charging for months of unused service and refusing any adjustment or goodwill exception reflects poorly on how they treat customers. If you’re considering signing up, be very careful about billing terms and cancellation timing, and watch your statements closely.

If you are looking for prescription refills for respiratory and blood psi DO NOT SEE MELISSA ROBERTS she is a nurse and can not refill any prescriptions. I spent $55for absolutely nothing . She was 7min late for the appt and didn't even realize it was a prescription refill appt until the end of my 15min which she was very adamant to keep reminding me. Was not concerned at all for what I made the appt for. Very unprofessional and most definitely inconsiderate!

I booked one- time online medical visit for$29. Immediately after booking, my bank sent mea notification showing a $348 charge for an annual subscription that I didn’t knowing and agree to. I tried to cancel right way, but the system didn’t allow me to cancel the subscription. I contacted the customer service, they canceled the further billing, but told me they couldn’t cancel current subscription . It means I was charged $348 for a plan I never intended to purchase and never used. Additionally, I didn’t receive any receipt, confirmation or purchase details until now. The unauthorized charge is not refunded. This experience feels misleading and unfair. I am posting this review to warn others to be extremely cautious to use service, and check their bank statements immediately.

I went to Sesame Care to discuss possible HRT for perimenopause symptoms. They force you to do this as a subscription but when I went to cancel, my account literally stated I had no subscription. Then I get an email that my subscription renewed. Their chatbot tells me it’s in a different place then there regular subscription (under your appointments?) and of course they refuse to refund. THIS IS FRAUD!

Customer service was absolutely useless. They did nothing for me and they were not helpful.

I had a horrible experience and would never recommend this company to anyone. Due to service issues at the pharmacy I chose, I had to ask the doctor to send the prescriptions to a new pharmacy. She actually refused! I then contacted their customer service and asked them to ask her to do so, and they also refused! The doctor was in my opinion rude and unprofessional. Their customer service people are in my opinion defensive, uncaring, and seemingly not interested in being helpful. Also concerning is that fact that when I contacted the doctor again -only five days after the consult - I got a message in the portal saying something to the effect that it had been a long time since my appointment and therefore the doctor might not be available to respond to me. Only five days after the appointment! You can easily find other telehealth providers by searching online. I would advise people to do yourself a favor and avoid Sesame!

Never felt so bait and switched ever. The website is very poorly worded and gives little to no information on what you will actually be charged until you receive the invoice for your prescription. Not only do they make you sign up for a "plan" which is nothing short of a 3 minute convo on the phone... that's a monthly charge.. refills are another monthly charge, and of course this is all on top of the medication price that they do not tell you the cost until after you do all this! Not being upfront on your website and clearly detailing the total cost is a huge red flag. Much cheaper options out there!
