This is ServiceMaster of Lynchburg VA At first I thought everything would be okay. I really wish I could give a good review however I cannot. The subcontractor they used pulled out a large cabinet and in doing so pulled the upper cabinets away from the wall it now rests on my refrigerator. The upper cabinets were not damaged by the flood. General contractor asked, "why didn't they repair their negligent work." Under the mobile home insulation was removed and in doing so a pipe that delivers water to the toilet was pulled out. I had a plumber fix it at my expense. The electrical outlet for the lamp over the kitchen table is no longer working they put holes in the bottom of the wall to dry it out now I have to have an electrician come in at my expense. The kitchen counter 10' was also damaged and the water did not touch that. Back splash Ceramic tile was pulled off the wall the water did not reach that. A gaping hole under the kitchen sink allowing critters to edge through, did not cover it, again at my expense to fix it. There is more however I do want to say a 5 gallon jug 1/2 filled with change/coin was stolen. I left the house once to go get pizza's for the workers what a mistake. I made! Also left the subcontractor alone since I had a doctor's appointment. I made an incident report with our sheriff's department . The owner said they would do an investigation. That's funny who would admit they're a thief. I received texts from his wife who said she was part owner. With an accusatory tone. A friend of mine just had a pipe burst in her home, she asked who did I use. I told her and her husband my experience so they are using another company. Pictures can be posted or sent.

They never left me a moisture tester when i asked for 1. They never used heat to dry and in 4 days drywall was still wet. They told me its still wet because i unplugged their equipment, they said i could unplug at night to sleep. Drywall is still wet because they didnt use heat or leave me a humidity tester. Rude people, come in, use my furniture for a desk without asking. Treating me like im incompetant for leaving a tap on.

I engaged ServiceMaster after a house fire, expecting a professional restoration. However, multiple items, including valuable and sentimental ones, were returned damaged or missing. Despite my thorough documentation and attempts to escalate, communication was inconsistent. The local franchise even closed before resolution. I urge anyone considering them to carefully weigh these risks, based on my direct experience.

My experience with ServiceMaster was unprofessional and a complete waste of time and money. I paid the $150 fee just to have someone come out and provide a quote. After the visit, I was told early next week I would receive the quote. I emailed them twice looking for the quote. I received no response for over a week. ​When I finally called to follow up, I was told they were "very busy" and they would "see about getting to it." Another week passed with nothing. This lack of effort sent me searching for another company. It wasn't until I sent an email formally requesting a refund of my $150 that they finally bothered to send the quote. They refused to refund my money, despite the unacceptable delay and lack of communication. ​To make matters worse, their quote was nearly double the price of the one I received from Servpro. ​Servpro, by comparison, was professional, helpful, and stayed on top of everything from the start. Save yourself the headache and the $150—go with Servpro.

Service Master advertised air duct cleaning for $99 but charged $564.00. Definitely not worth it! My neighbor only pays $150 for two cleanings per year from Bay Heating and Cooling. I will definitely be calling them next time.

TRIGGER WARNING If I could give a -1 Star rating I would. This incident occurred a few years ago, but I only just discovered trust pilot, and I’m going to give all of the reviews that I feel deserve to be on trust pilot. I Live in a rather large and quiet community where the street signs for speed limit from one end to the other clearly read 25 mph. It was a beautiful sunny day on July 9 when a Servicemaster restore van came speeding through our neighborhood. YES, our dog shouldn’t have been near the road. I still pay for my actions to this day. My heart still aches. My dog had broke loose from his lead, and was crossing back over from the neighbors, everyone saw the Van coming and the van saw us. The van ran over my puppy, and then slow down to a stop, looked back and saw what they had done, and then they floored it. That day I had to take my puppy to find out he was paralyzed from the waist down, and I had to put him down. Add insult to injury. It cost me $400 to do so. I paid in more ways than one for that day, but had Servicemaster stopped at all and offered any remorse, I wouldn’t be leaving this review. On top of that I reported them they denied the claim unless I had a picture for proof. The whole neighborhood witnessed it. My Direct neighbor is an elderly couple, and they are scarred to this day as well. They had video footage of it, and I could not bare look at it nor could they.
