I hoped to leave Service Experts a positive review, but I cannot comfortably recommend them due to their excessive pricing structure and lack of invoice transparency. I recently scheduled a service call to repair a leaking shower. Based on my research into the specific replacement components required, the maximum cost for the parts was approximately $350. Despite this, the final charge came out to $1,760.10. Even with my enrollment in their Advantage Program, the total discount provided was only $45.90—a negligible offset for a bill of that size. I was also told I would get a detailed itemized invoice explaining the breakdown of the service, charges, and labor, but I have not received it. I just received a summary bill for the bulk total of $1,760.10 with no breakdown included. While the service itself was completed, a markup of that magnitude without transparent billing is difficult to justify. I advise potential customers to limit their use of Service Experts to routine maintenance and seek alternative estimates for major repairs.
