Sepal AIReviews of sepalai.com

Working at Sepal has been a fantastic experience! As a PhD student, finding a role that offers both stimulating work and genuine flexibility is rare. Sepal allowed me to fit interesting projects into my weekly availability without compromising my other duties. Highly recommended for people seeking impactful and flexible remote work.

I scheduled an interview with this company, and the person who showed up was a different person. I was suspicious, but in the next step, I was in a Zoom call with somebody who had no experience interviewing engineers. After 15 seconds or so of introduction, they asked me to share my screen(serious red flag here for a company aware of cybersecurity) and sent me a link to a low-rent coderpad clone that took over thirty seconds to load. At this point, it was obvious that no matter how badly I did, they would tell me I did great and send me an offer letter. This company is not trustworthy.

I’ve been working with Sepal AI on the physics side, developing advanced physics datasets to enhance AI safety, reasoning capabilities, and robustness. As one of the founding contributors, I initiated and led multiple early-stage projects focused on generating high-quality, novel physics problems to challenge and refine AI models. Management has great trust in employees. We submit our own hours and get paid accordingly, always on time. The pay is the best I’ve seen among all similar companies (I’ve earned around $57,600 to date), and there’s plenty of work to do. If you are a PhD, Postdoc, or Professor looking to make a significant income on the side while working on intellectually stimulating projects, this is for you.

Just using graduate students for data labeling. Heavy and unstimulating workflow just consisting in rewriting problems in a specific way. Pay is not bad, especially if compared with a PhD stipend.

I have worked for several AI training companies in the past as a trainer and Sepal AI has been by far the best. Management has been professional yet friendly, responsive, and communicate expectations well. I am very happy to work here and look forward to a long collaboration with these folks.

I've been working with Sepal AI since January 2025. The projects come and go, so there isn't necessarily a steady work demand, but there's plenty of opportunity to contribute hours when the projects are in flight. All the work is remote, flexible, you can work as much or as little as you want. Hours are tracked with a clock in / clock out system, and payments are automated twice a month. Never had any issues with receiving payment. Communication with management is surprisingly good. I've worked in various remote positions for other companies, and communications can be frustrating. Fortunately, management is easy to reach and they are super friendly, they want everyone to be successful. I highly recommend working with them if offered the chance.

Back in February I joined Sepal AI and it’s been one of the best places I’ve worked supportive culture, sharp teammates, big ambitions. Proud early team member and excited to grow with the team! 🤖✨ #SepalAI #AI #Team

I had a great experience to work with Sepal AI. Staff are highly co-operative and developments are highly innovative that have been encouraging me to continuously work with them
