I made 4k USD working on a chemistry project. I met with the team every week and I got all the support I needed. I really enjoyed working with the team and contributing to the AI growth.

I received an email from Oleksander P., the project lead, asking me to schedule an interview through a Calendly link. However, the link initially had no available days or time slots. I followed up a couple of times but didn’t receive a response. A few days later, when I tried the link again, I was finally able to book a time and received a confirmation—this time from a different person, Orlando G. But a few minutes later, the interview was cancelled. It seems like they may be in the process of building a database of potential profiles rather than actively moving forward with interviews, which makes me feel less confident that there is real projects at this stage.

I've been supporting Sepal AI as a Biology Expert across several exciting short-term projects since last March (2025). I've really enjoyed the experience, from creative question development to Team Lead roles using my growing experience in this space. I found their onboarding process to be clear, stringent and fair, and it's easy to start making contributions to new projects thanks to detailed project guidelines and responsiveness in communications between the cohort of Experts and Team Leads. It's been inspiring work and I've also learned additional science communication and review skills along with project management when taking up a Team Lead role recently.
