I bought a mattress direct from Sealy. People delivered mattress, 1 guy uploaded it from truck alone. Draped bed over his head. 1 side of mattress felt like your sleeping on a box spring , other side 1/2 as bad. Sent it back. They brought a mattress back to replace it. 3 guys on truck, 1 guy unloaded it alone, I refused mattress. They refused to refund me. Sealy is a thieving company. YouTube for best mattress, and also worse ones , plus for mattress scams before you buy one.

Poorly and terrible customer service
I had to give 1 star just to even write this, and honestly that still feels too generous.
It’s been TWO WEEKS since my mattress was lost, and Sealy has been absolutely no help in resolving this. Every time I reached out, I got the same response: “our hands are tied.” No accountability, no effort, nothing. Meanwhile, I’m the one stuck dealing with the mess.
I had to chase UPS myself—calling, following up, practically begging them to investigate and expedite the claim. After all that, UPS finally agreed to pay the claim. You’d think that would be the end of it, right? Nope.
Now I have to go back to Sealy, contact them AGAIN on my own, and sit around waiting for their email so I can request a refund. Why am I doing all of this? This was not my mistake.
I paid for a mattress. I never received it. And somehow I’m the one doing all the work to fix a problem caused by everyone else.
This entire experience has been exhausting, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.
At this point, this honestly feels like a scam.
They had no problem taking my money immediately—no “2–3 business days” delay there—but when it comes to fixing the issue or giving me my refund, suddenly everything takes forever and no one can do anything?
It’s been two weeks since my mattress was lost. I’ve had to chase UPS myself to get the claim resolved, and now I’m STILL the one doing all the work to get my money back from Sealy. Meanwhile, I’m left without a mattress and stuck waiting on emails and “processes.”
This is completely unacceptable. I paid for something I never received, and somehow I’m the one dealing with all the stress and delays. How is that okay?

Buyers beware - overpriced and poor quality
I received the mattress and foundation on April 2,2026. The mattress had a stitching issue with the mattress cover . I spent $2277.94 and Sealy is claiming the manufacturer stitching issue is in their view minor and not something they will address. They are demanding I pay $175 fee to return the mattress to them.
As a consumer this is not only poor quality manufacturing it is poor customer service . Sealy brand is not what it used to be …. Buyers please be aware and purchase a mattress and foundation elsewhere if you value your time and money

Shop elsewhere
Please save your time and shop elsewhere. I ordered a mattress and cancelled the order the next day and guess what? I didn’t hear back from them until 7 days later and said sorry it’s too late to cancel and collects a $175 fee! Are you kidding me?? This company is trash!

Me and my Wife bought a Sealy Mattress…
Me and my Wife bought a Sealy Mattress in 2022, brand new from a local store nearby. Was good for all of two years before we had to buy a 2-4 inch thick memory foam pillow top which only worked for another year. We switched to SweetNight this year. Our back started having a lot of problems the last year of having it. By the time we took the pillowtop off, the mattress was as hard as a rock. You couldn't really push your hands down into it. The mattress only lasted about 3 years in total. It was supposed to be memory foam and it was supposed to have cooling tech which, it did not feel cool to the touch either. And thats even after buying a pillowtop. The place we bought it from said it'd last for 5-10 years. Yeah right. If you are looking for a great mattress, avoid Sealy at all costs. You will just waste a lot more money because you will have to change the mattress out within a few years with a lot of back and hip pain on the side as the complimentary bonus. The materials those mattresses are made of, are cheap materials sold at a higher price. And they will try to convince you, like they all do, that its an amazing brand. Don't fall for it. We're never going back.
