Fast paced and McGraw hill governed
This course is very fast paced. The professors are helpful, but ultimately the exams are taken from McGraw Hill test banks. The questions come from over 200 pages of reading and might be about something written in parenthesis. Thus, it feels like you can study for hours and be asked about something you've never heard of. I think the exam test banks do not accurately gauge students understanding, nor provide an opportunity for true learning. To do well, you have to memorize a lot of information and have a large foundation of knowledge to build off of. I think if the professors were able to change the structure of the course it would be better. Tutoring is really helpful. The professors are understanding and willing to help and give extensions if you ask. I wish they would actually write the exams. Also, you can drop the class up until the very last day of the course, so you should submit all the homework and discussion posts to boost your grade and your final grade will jump up even if it seems low.
