The Best Tutor: Professor Armen Nazarian
I have recently completed the summer 5 week Organic Chemistry course at SCUHS. I signed up for the free tutoring service provided and was luckily assigned to the best tutor, Professor Armen Nazarian. Even though he was not my instructor he was very knowledgeable and patient. He was able to clearly explain topics that were unclear to me in way I could comprehend. During our sessions we went over homework problems and past quizzes and his teaching style and dedication helped me feel more confident throughout the course. If you are looking for an effective organic chemistry tutor I highly recommend him. Thank you again for all your help and support!

Tailored coursework
The course setup is great once you figure out the platform (for first time users, don't wait till the class actually starts). I like the interactive textbooks and questions. Its a good way to learn. If you are a first time user, know that the textbook link has the textbook, quiz, and interactive learning. You might have a separate quiz in the platform itself.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're glad you found the course structure and interactive learning resources helpful. We also appreciate your suggestion for new students to familiarize themselves with the course platform before classes begin. We do provide access for students to review the weekend before courses officially start, and that is a great recommendation to others starting an accelerated course. We wish you continued success in your academic journey.

The instructors were great as I first started taking my pre reqs for my college. However, I missed the payment plan window by a few hours and was unable to signup for a payment plan. I had to withdrawal and was then charged for withdrawling.

I felt that class was very overpriced and didn’t feel that the professors truly wanted students to succeed. I expected it to be more science oriented, hence the name, but took Physics 2 and university of phoenix and felt that they did a much better job of making the class feel somewhat geared to my future career. They were 7 weeks and about $500 cheaper.

The teacher cared more about the position of my camera than the work itself. When ordering my transcript and after waiting for it to be sent for a while, I called many times to discover that their system was down. Very irresponsible not to even send an email saying their system was down- that I had to call myself. In order to get my transcript, I had to make many phone calls and was treated very poorly. The customer service was terrible. The professor was very nice, but as I said, she cared more about the position of my camera than anything else. Very disappointing.
