Website lagged, gave false order confirmation, then cancelled on me days later.
I signed in early morning and purchased 5 of the new Route 66 first strikes, and the website connection was slow and lagging. I eventually received an order confirmation, but it showed pending payment for some reason, even though my valid card was used. I emailed the help line and read that pending sale usually means they just have to run the card to verify payment. I got no response back until days later when my order was cancelled on me! Completely unprofessional, zero customer service or order protection…no calls…nothing at all. Eventually days later, I received an apology for the lack of response time due to abnormally high sales volumes. That was even more frustrating as it was pretty much a “too bad for me” outcome all around! I am out the 5 special edition coins for my kids, and definitely won’t be trusting my online purchases through Scottsdale mint anymore. Order Number: 366852
