Probably the best AI research tool out there and very quick customer support!

I had a trial subscription which I planned to cancel. HOWEVER, the subscription was credited to a wrong email address (!) and therefore I did not even know the sub was active (and have not used the service once). By coincidence I saw that my account was billed 7 days after it has happened and I complained to the customer service I did not want the subscription and that it was even billed on the wrong email address. The customer service argued 7 days after the bill that it was not a reasonable timeline to complain (keep in mind the 14-day term for subscriptions in european law) and just stopped replying after a first email. I will contact my credit card company for a refund.

The site really helps me looking for trusted literature for my research. But what I really like is that their customer service support is responsive and immediately will take an action to any requests

I coach and edit academic writing, mostly for online doctoral students. The document I got at the last stages was a short quantitative one and thankfully only had seven pages of references. Almost ALL of them were fake or inaccurate, and most maddening of all, had doi's that led to completely unrelated articles once I checked in the library of the school in which I've been an English adjunct for 33 years! What an academic disaster this would have been for the doctoral candidate had I not picked it up. I had to fix all the references (taking about 7 hours) and look up some more with more up-to-date research. Stay away from Scite if you value academic integrity or the stability of your present job or future positions. Can you even imagine the consequences for a dissertation with made up or inaccurate references throughout once it is found out?

Scientific research, unlike other AIs, completely relies on real scientific material. However, uploading articles for inspection requires quite laborious work. But it is more trustworthy than other AIs, and this reliability is the most important feature for me as an academic. The MCP feature is also another positive aspect. But still, the language understanding interface should be improved so that many other nationals, whose English is their second language, can have some communication problems.

Scite makes literature reviews and looking for reputable research articles a breeze. I appreciate the helpful summaries it provides of applicable articles when you ask a question, pulling the primary focus points from various works that answer your question. It has made my doctoral work so much more efficient!
