They get 1 star becuase 0 is not an option. A sizable wire was lost and I spent 5 days on multiple calls withthe wire transfer hotline with no help. Protect your money and do not do business with Schwab. Worst experience in my life- I still do not have my money or an answer.

Well, you cannot import tax data from Charles Schwab into H&R Block software. EVERY other brokerage is supported, but not Schwab. Apparently, there is a technical issue on the Schwab side that has not been resolved for months. That is a pretty big deal when you have hundreds of transactions (or even a few).

Tried to open trust accounts and on another occasion tried to open a joint account. Misleading information required filling out new forms. Multiple calls to customer service did not remedy the situation. They make it hard on the customer to conduct simple business. Wasting my time!!!!

I tried to contact Charles Schwab to open a substancial account. I went to the internet and left a message to have someone call me and left a message with a specific agent. After 4 days, I called the office, after 10 minutes of the auto phone transferring me around, I called the main office and asked for them to have the branch manager call me. They did not understand why I wanted to talk with the branch manager. Finally they agreed to e-mail him. I looked further and finally found managers telephone number. Had to leave a message. No one answers phone call or e-mail. I decided to invest my money else where.

I have never had to call a bank as much as I have had to call CS. I have had endless frustrating issues since I began using my debit card regularly. Small local purchases at the gas station get flagged for fraud, my card randomly declines both online and in person, even when I have more than enough money to cover the purchase, and setting up travel notices is pointless because my card still gets declined while traveling. It takes a minimum of 20 mins on the phone each time I call, only for them to continually pass the buck and blame Visa. That’s funny since every other debit card I have owned has also been a Visa but I have NEVER had any of the constant issues I have had with their stupid useless card. They have never been able to provide a reasonable answer other than to blame the merchant (while other customers with a different bank have no issue making purchases at the same store) or Visa itself. It is none of those. The problem is this joke of a bank. Highly NOT recommended unless you always carry a back up debit card since theirs is utterly useless. I only keep them because they reimburse international ATM fees.

Schwab Torrance branch provides very BAD customer services. They deposited my IRA check to the wrong account and told me it will be corrected within 24-72 hours. After a week and half it has NOT been corrected. I have to waste my time to call Schwab customer service and walk in to the branch office to follow up. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Opened a new account yesterday, tried to get into it today, I couldn't get into it, cause they locked it. It won't be available until Friday or Monday-- WHAT IS THAT ABOUT? -- "for my own protection"-REALLY??, while they have a $100,000+ OF MY MONEY I CAN'T GET TO. Don't use this organization, I sincerely regret this decision!!

Just suspended my account today because I request a check lol. They say it’s fraud to make sure was me but now can’t access and it’s been 24 hours well it clearly was me request check since did over phone and verified myself yet they lock it for no good reason
