Gold Standard for Customer Service. Schwab is the best. Period. They hire smart, motivated, hardworking people, train them well, and teach them to solve problems, not create them. Sure, I've had some issues with Schwab in the past, but each time I've called and got a real human being who actually knew their job! And wanted to help. And did help. The only reason to bank with anyone else is that you need to hold something other than US dollars (they do not have foreign currency accounts). Schwab, keep up the good work.

I have been banking with Schwab for four years now, after moving to the US from the UK, as they were the easiest to open an account with, without a credit score. They have been outstanding for me. I’ve had to call them more than a few times for things like international transfer questions, lost card, two cases of fraud - and every time the customer service was courteous, efficient and truly excellent at their job. I have also banked with Chase (a joint credit card with my husband), Monzo, NatWest (for years), and a bunch of others and Schwab is by far the most consistent and helpful. I have no affiliation but want to give credit where it’s due - I can't stress enough what a difference it makes to have customer service like then you call because there's an issue and you need often urgent help. From Ireland I've managed my own stock trading account for about 10 years at Schwab. The trading platform works well. In my last phone call about a EFT money transfer which I do maybe once or twice a year, my call was answered as usual promptly and professionally, with great care taken about my identification.
