I opened my Schwab IRA brokerage account while on orders stationed in Germany. On return to the states I changed my address which they did not record. In today’s effort to transfer funds I was hamstrung by my duty station German address. I called to change the address in their system and was advised to follow a lengthy document intensive process to upload into their “secure portal”. Really Schwab? For a simple change of address? Avoid these clowns. Too many other customer centric firms out there.

They do not give you the ability to protect your investment in a retirement account. The big boys can do it with other people's money but you as an individual are prevented from doing it. Disgusting.

I filled out an order to send a bank wire from my 401k. Once completed I received emails stating it could 3-5 additional days!! They don't want to RELEASE YOUR $$. I am cancelling Charles Schwab. BAD SERVICE!!!

After being moved forcibly from TD Ameritrade, I have problems more often than not with their TOS swim app. It's often broken. And their web platform is a toy.

This was the company-chosen broker to manage our RSUs. They are "the best" at keeping them, but unfortunately they were incapable of sending the funds to another account in over a month. I've been told that leading with a complaint is the only way to get a Wire Transfer done. Customer Service rating - zero! They keep asking me to call them only to "verify" my information and keep themselves busy, but nothing else (probably to blame me for the delay for not calling them).

If I could give them a -5, they would earn it well. Everything about their platform is difficult to navigate versus TDA. It took forever for them to move the accounts. Anyone with a 3rd grade education would have known to adopt the TDA platform across the board. I hate the thought of trading because I have to look at their crap.

Wish I could give them a zero. They gave up an opportunity to use TD mobile app, but instead continue to use their own hot garbage app. It's not worth the 30 minutes of typing to express how infuriating the differences are. Easier to move to a different broker. Sorry to see TDA go. Happy to leave CS for good.

Their trading platform is not user friendly and their support have not been doing a great job at all. Inčome Čhampiòn investment platform is much better and reliable because I have been using them for the past three months now and everything has been awesome.
