SCAM ALERT! Charles Schwab are con artists. I tried several times to trade stock options on both of their platforms (ThinkOrSwim and StreetSmartEdge). They will not allow you to make money. Whenever I have a profit and want to exit my position to take that profit, then log me out right as I'm trying to close my position, and they use the excuse that they are just then at that exact moment in the process of switching from one platform that they are about to discontinue (the one where I opened my trade in the morning) to the other platform. It's a little suspicious that they abandon the platform right in the middle of people's trades. They switched back and forth between these two platforms about ten times in the last six months. Charles Schwab is a big scam.

I must either show in person or send them a note from my mommy (a notarized letter). I say no and considering my position I WILL NEVER USE SWITCH AND SWAB AGAIN. i AM DISABLED AND SCHWAB REFUSES REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION. STAY AWAY. Look at their ESG and DEI, not the best people in support, but to support the WOKE policies...understand alternative life style, boy claiming to be girls and competing against girl and color seem more important than hiring the best. Simply put I SAY NO MORE! They are rude, condescending, and inflexible. It's your money maybe consider STRIVE asset management! Follow up: 4/08/2024 Raj took care of me! Still have doubts with Frisco office (still on the Covid lock down?) does not accept walk in and appointment Frisco does not answer the phone. How good can that be and no other offices in the Mountains.

Moved over when Ameritrade disappeared. My ability to make personalized online portfolio charts decreased. Rep ghosts me. My last RMD failed to be taken even after I checked that all was ok after the sale. Worse, site is not sophisticated enough to allow me to take out rmd and post that it is for 2023. No notification. Unhappy totally with lack of customer service. (Yes, I know the error is mine for not being more careful.)

I have been a advisor for over 15 years. I have been through multiple "Buy outs" and the purchase of TD from Schwab has been the WORST transaction yet. Charles Schwab is HORRIBLE to deal with!! The forms they issue could not be harder to comprehend. Nothing at Schwab is logical and easy to use. Terrible website (Schwab Advisor Center). Nothing flows easily like it used to at TD Ameritrade. Schwab, I give you a HUGE thumbs down

I started to receive junk emails from them once every other day. No option to unsubscribe, no option to adjust emails. I contacted chat, and there's only 2 options, emails on or off. On means i will keep getting junk emails, off means everything off. The chat representative actually said its my responsibility for security breaches, i will not be notified. I will start looking for a different brokerage now to move my stuff.

Ashley P in Denver is rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. SCH used to value their reputation for excellence in customer service, but their standards fell through the floor when they hired this young woman. She has no place being the face of a publicly traded company and she should be relegated to a back office position with no customer contact. Her unpleasant demeanor and bad attitude should not be tolerated by SCH or any other organization that values their clients or their integrity.

Opened up a Roth IRA account and received a letter in the mail a week later saying they were closing my account. I called the number and they won't even tell me why. THIS IS A RETIREMENT ACCOUNT. All they will tell me was that it was a business decision. I'm sorry but if you're closing my account that I've deposited money into, you should at least tell me why it's being closed.

Worst customer service ever. Considering a Fidelity move from TDA instead of this crap place. No exceptions even tho I have ALL the information to open a ROTH for a family member. Willing to contribute full amount before deadline and they don't want to hear about it. TDA was never this way. Willing to work with you to make things right. Not Schwab. Starting out on a bad foot Schwab. I write reviews.... CFS = can't fix stupid customer service.
