Been on the phone with 2 separate phones to get a hold of someone. 12 min,48 min and 1:02 min with no one answering. Gave up. Called for a 6th time and finally got a person and he was very nice. Issue still not resolved so now we are both on hold trying to get the info. Pro= my TOS seemed to have transferred okay. While on hold this whole time I have to listen to this awful female voice with the same updates and no option to shut her up. Now since using 2 phones trying to get a hold of them you can only imagine how bad it is since they are not in sync. I miss you TDA. So teh guy in the end was able to come through, took several hours of my time but he was great. So I added 1 star.

The consultant and advisors are excellent - no complaints. But for an active trader, their new platform is worthless! Think or Swim has a ton of useless charts, a ton of useless features! It is inaccurate with current holdings, it does not update intraday, it is so slow to make an options trade - you might as well watch paint dry! For swing traders of options - I've seen nothing worse on the market. They should have stayed with Street Smart Edge! Think or Swim is built for "ploppies", or other inexperienced "gamblers", not for traders who are serious about making money. It probably works fine for stock trading long term and other simple trades, but for an avid trader who needs to trade quickly, it is beyond worthless!

Both my Fidelity and Vanguard accounts park available cash in high interest accounts without you needing to do anything. At Schwab, the default account pays somewhere around 0.25%/annum!!! In order to get a better rate, you have to invest in their money market fund (I asked on a phone call), which is not FDIC insured. What rip-off cheapos! And then, you have to sell your money-market funds when you want to trade! Not very customer oriented.

Trying to set up better 2-step authentication than the text message Schwab offers. They directed me to '2 stable' which charges $49 per year. Very annoying and not user friendly. They should offer free decent 2-step authentication. If I am mistaken about this, can someone please let me know? Well, about 15 minutes after I expressed my annoyance to the Schwab person I received a call back. They explained that they do have a free authentication system using Symantec and that it has to be set up with them by phone person by person. I did that.

My review will be based on customer service mainly using the email and chat sessions within my account login. All I needed were forms to be signed. Every person I have contacted via chat has promised me that my request will be taken care of. Everyone has also given me different answers from each other. Also, even though a chat session person says they will put in notes, every single new chat initiated, I have to explain myself all over again. The latest chat indicated that most of my forms were missing which I had to emailed to them on an earlier upload and they were able to then find it. If you email them via your account, there is a feedback that says someone will get to it in 2 business days. I have found that after a week, no one has paid attention to it. It's just sad that Charles Schwab took over TD Ameritrade as I have not encountered any issues with TD Ameritrade. I am guessing their customer service TD Ameritrade employees were very knowledgeable in their field. I feel that Charles Schwab has outsourced customer service. My last chat as of today is that I need to call a number so my request can be looked at.

Thanks for the guidance but I think there's room for improvement, my investment was handled poorly. I think I will stick to my independent advisor Libbey Jane Bean on Google for now, at least my investments are handled properly and I make profit too.

Attempted to wire money INTO a Schwab account. It was rejected despite following their procedure online. They charged me $50 and rejected the deposit! Customer service couldn't have been worse. Horrible. Last time.

Tried for 2 weeks to fund a new account. They were completely unable to link an external bank account to my brokerage account. ETRADE, did it all in less than 24 hrs
