Recently became a Schwab client. Awful website with ongoing, almost daily issues. Earlier this week it couldn't calculate value if you held Nvidia stock due to the split. Then on Tuesday the website was down for nearly an hour and people missed out on trading opportunities. Today, inaccurate account values again. Reps try but seem to lack more than perfunctory training. Time to switch to another brokerage! UPDATE Now I am missing dividends. Some Reps are clueless, while others seem competent. Unstable website. Inaccurate and forget about realtime quotes. Awful experience.

For the second morning in a row, I can't even log in to schwab. Again, I can't open ThinkorSwim. Schwab can't handle the extra T.D Ameritrade customers. I never had these kind of problems at T.D. Ameritrade. Schwab SUCKS!

I loved TD ameritrade. Great customer service, amazing ThinkorSwim platform with tons of great tools. Since Schwab has bought them out, I've had nothing but problems. I have to wait 5 days for money to hit my account, TD took it same day most times, second day at worst case. Schwab has rejected multiple orders on my mobile platform, login online through pc and it instantly goes through. This will be the second time in a 3 month period of not being able to login. Customer service wants me to wait 35-44 minutes wait just to talk about why it's down right now. Td ameritrade would have been on the phone with me in 5-10 minutes. When I talked to schwab about the mobile app rejecting orders, they couldn't even find the orders im talking about and then acted like it should be working just fine and offered no solutions, just the normal IT turn away points 'turn it off and on again' mantra. This service is going straight down and this is just pushing me to leave. Loved TOS, but this is getting ridiculous. Why buy something and break it? All they had to do was keep everything in place.. guess they are more concerned with non retail traders woth large bank accounts, sorry my dollar with isn't enough for you to care.

There are frequent technical problems across all platforms and long hold times. This is unacceptable for a trading platform.

Charles Schwab was a great brokerage company I used as American, while residing in the US. Once I notified them that I'm moving to New Zealand they force me to either close my investments or transfer them to a different broker. Now, why on earth would Charles Schwab not allow me, an American Citizen, who pays taxes to IRS, fees to the broker/Schwab,... why won't they allow me remain an investor/trader while in New Zealand? Especially when I'm investing hundreds of thousands of dollars. They dropped the ball which I didn't even expect; their platform is awesome, but for you to ignore our needs is just unprofessional. I'm really disappointed and have never expected this. They provide International brokerage to other countries, but to New Zealand? WOW - are you serious? When Charles Schwab works with American expats based in New Zealand, I'll change my starts to 5 w/out any questions. Until then, no star.

Thinkorswim replaced streetsmartedge and now people are closing accounts . Senior management is aware of STINKORSWIM horrible performance but used it to run traders off . 50% of their revenues come from their bank . Traders make no contribution to the bank because they are TRADERS . Therefor management placed a STINKORSWIM platform to drive off traders,

It's a Saturday evening 5/31/24. Charts are not coming up. On Demand for backtesting isn't working. What good is a brokerage if you can't look at charts and backtest on the weekend. I called and there are no support techs working. This is extremely poor customer service for the largest broker in the USA. They have zero tec support on the weekend. Find another broker.

Customer service is non-existent. Impossible to get through to anyone even on their "live" chat. Sent 2 messages via their "secure messages" portal and a week later still had no response. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. Would certainly NOT recommend. One star is one too many.
