Charles SchwabReviews of schwab.com

The swab is the worst brokerage ever. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I would never recommend this company to anyone. Swab does not care about their clients. Swab inquired about TD Ameritrade and I got stuck with Swab. I am transferring my account asap. This company is a joke. Restricted me from selling a 112% option because I was leaving them.

I created an IRA account and transferred my 401K to Schwab. They had me request to send a check from my 401K provider. This all went smooth, but I realized after some time the money was not transferred into my account. I contacted support and they said my account was not completely setup, and now requesting that I either go in person to a Charles Schwab office (which would require a plane trip as I live in Hawaii and they only have one office, and its not on my island) or send a notorized letter to verify my identity. What a hassle.

I tried to open a calendar spread several times and they didn't take the order and ended up putting a margin restriction on my account. When I spoke with the margin team they told me that they could not take those orders now, that if I wanted to do them I had to go to another broker. Of course, they don't take it when your chance of winning is very high. But I'll get out of this garbage.

I went there twice with 200,00

My advice to Schwab is to reinstitue StreetSmart Edge. The mistake cost you many clients and your formerly good reputation with traders . The hall mark of good management is to ask the customers concerning a change .

Absolutely horrendous trading platform!!!! I wish there was a zero star!! They made it extremely difficult for traders to navigate on their crappy app which I think was deliberately made to discourage retail traders from actively managing their account!! I truly miss TD Ameritrade!! They even liquidated my positions without any warning whatsoever (TD Ameritrade used to call me to give me options) which resulted in massive loss - I'm talking tens of thousands of dollars!! Stay as far away as possible from Charles Schwab to keep your money safe!!!

I called this company as a new person that wants to invest in stocks first there was nobody to answer the phone and then when they did answer the phone they didn't know what stocks was and they asked me to go back to my country and they said take your business someplace else Please do not contact this company for any of your stocks needs

Terrible company. They took over TD Ameritrade so had to move all my TD stuff to Schwab. Didnt take long at all and was very easy however working with the company and how everything is setup is a pain in the a$$. Half the time when i try to login it will say 'incorrect username or password' even though it IS correct. F U Charles!!
