Could not log in on the app multiple times in last three months. Useless, bugfilled app. Moving my account from here. Shame on CS.

- Schwab customers hate the thinkorswim platform. - Ameritrade customers hates the platform problems caused by Schwab. It seems that Schwab has successfully ticked off both sides of the merger. Customer support is abysmal - their priorities are to deny ongoing, known issues. It’s absurd The thinkorswim trading platform has become incredibly slow with executions and fills are much worse than in the past. They’ve never been the fastest but they were reasonable. You could at least get in and out of a trade. Now you’re lucky to get a full fill or a fill at all. The amount of cancelled orders has quadrupled since the merger. This is 100% controlled by Schwab. Execution speeds and fills don’t coincidentally change after a merger like this. It’s entirely intentional. Schwab is clearly giving the big boys order preference and hanging retail traders out to dry. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised considering the connections, but I’ll be honest, thought it would be less blatant. I was one of the very last transitions on a Friday, my first trade was on the following Monday and it literally changed over the weekend. The platform didn’tchange, just the ownership but suddenly it begins behaving differently from one day to the next. Nothing says customer service like costing your clients money. But I guess the big guys are the real clients.

I've been trading online for roughly 20 years and have never had a problem until Ameritrade was apparently purchased by Charles Schwab. My account has been suspended twice now due to what they call unethical violations. I traded with money that hadn't cleared. The money was there and it let me buy so i didn't realize I had to wait 3 days to use it. I figured if it was unethical that they wouldn't let me do it. I don't like this new platform. Personally I have closed all positions and will be taking my business elsewhere. i understand Charles Schwab wont care because my account is not a million dollar account but it is what it is. I highly recommend avoiding this trading platform.

I would give 0 start if I could. This review is mainly for their trading platform Android App. I was TD Ameritrade customer. After merger, was forced to use Charle's App. It's totally counter intuitive (vs. TDA), unstable, crashes randomly when you are in the middle of setting a trade. This app is not production worthy and should be banned. Bring back TDA app. Govt should not allow such a crappy app for such serious matter. Not sure how it passes any compliance check.

Charles Swabb is the greediest company on the planet! And customer service is incompetent as ever. Lost my checking account application and said to unfreeze my credit so they can reprocess and until then all accounts are frozen- so I said close it:) Going to Fidelity—

There is an old saying: "They show you the horse and they give you the donkey!" This an apt description of Schwab's Customer Service. While cordial and well-meaning, trying to accomplish operational tasks through their 800-line support staff is entering a black whole. As conservator for a relative's IRA account, I needed to move money, via a wire transfer, to a bank, and then close out the IRA account. Time was of the essence in accomplishing this transfer. Because of a series of Schwab errors and organizational inter-departmental communication problems, this attempted money transfer & closure of the account, which started on July 12th has still not been completed as of this July 26th. You never talk to the same person twice and if an issue arises, resolving it reverts back at the origin of the transaction, not where the snag in the transaction arose; the result is lost time, especially, in cases where time is of the essence. Again, they spend all this money to get me as a customer and then, with very poor customer service, disappoint me by giving me "THE DONKEY!"
