When TD Ameritrade ran their thinkorswim app it run perfectly it was never down. Now that Charles Schwab is taking it over the app, it doesn't work when the market is doing some major swings. That's when you want to get into the app to put some protection on and it's not available.

On logging in today, I could not find their phone number anywhere on the site and I should not have to hunt for it. Secondly, there was no reason why Charles Schwab could not keep the TdAmeritrade interface or even let users select which interface they would like to have. I miss my old brokerage account that was taken from me. I'm in the process of narrowing down what I have in stocks and shifting money to FDIC protected accounts since any firm I've found seems to be either a fly-by-night sly operation or is extremely difficult to use. I added one star because I have been able to shift money between my bank account and brokerage account.

I became a Schwab client by way of the Ameritrade merger, so obviously, not a happy trader. From the moment oversight moved from Ameritrade to Schwab, ThinkOrSwim has been in such disarray that it begs the question, is Schwab trying to destroy TOS after acquiring ownership via their Ameritrade acquisition. Even giving them the benefit of the doubt, the technical problems which have surfaced "suddenly" are clearly intentional. We're talking about Charles Schwab. This firm is supposed to be the last man standing in an ongoing consolidation of online brokerage companies. It's inconceivable that they are unable to fix a simple problem that wasn't a problem when Ameritrade was running ThinkOrSwim. By failing to publish financing rates for forex trades, they are intentionally depriving their clients with vital information that would only benefit them. But because Schwab is taking the other side of most Forex trades, they would prefer not to provide an edge to traders engaged in forex trading. Publish the financing rates for which you have a tab in TOS.

I made A deposit and had to wait 7 days before I was able to use that money to trade a stock. That is even when I had a verified account which I traded in before. Schwab made interest on my money after one day Any other Venue. I use I have access to my money in 1 day. I missed a trade that I wanted to make at the price. I wanted to make it at and it was at that price during the 7 day period when my money was on hold. When? My money was finally availableThe price had gone up too much so I didn't consummate the trade.

Website is slow and glitchy. Trading platforms slow to engage. Difficult to change bid price after executing an order. I seem to always lose money. I am looking for another online broker. Schwab sucks! Stock prices slow to update. Site crashes too often. Antiquated. Schwab needs to update and revamp website.

Everything was good. Except you don't cater to people who don't drink alcohol. I'm not going to go to another game for a while. Please do better.

Why did TD ever thought of selling it to Schwab? Service and platform only goes down from here on.. Nothing is good anymore. Sometime after calling their customer service, and they are just as clueless as me when I asking where to do certain things on their website. Just miserable for customers. Definitely cutting down my trade.

Going from TD Ameritrade it's been a big change... throughout the years I've mostly traded penny stocks here and there, trying to learn from mistakes in this ever changing world. Recently I had the time to get back into the market. While in a low volume penny stock I tried to sell at a lower price knowing I'd lose money to get into a penny stock I believed would take off. I put in an order to sell and was denied because the bid price was a certain % below the current price( which some penny stocks have quite the spread) so I could've took a 23% loss on the position to jump into another play. As of today I could've potentially made 1100+% on that potential play I wanted to get into at the top. Even a 400% gain from the close, which I believe it has much more potential. How can someone I pay to buy/sell, control what I do with my money!!!! Ever since the original GME run, big money controls all retail traders. Good luck to any "small fish" trading these days
