The REAL TRUTH about Charles Schwab Bank
Let me explain why Charles Schwab Bank has such an ATROCIOUS review rating. Let's start with the fact that you may be blocked and banned from accessing your account, as I was after being a client for over 20 years. Moreover, after closing my account and receiving an "official" Schwab bank check for the balance (meaning there is now a zero dollar balance), I am notified that the account is "under review." For what? I deposited the check (Or should we now say rubber check) into a local bank where I have an account and after 7 days it has not posted. So what's next? Will Schwab say that it is a fraudulent knock off? We appreciate that Schwab proactively monitors fraud, however, when you are treated like a criminal after verification, that is unacceptable. The security team (so-called) may know security protocols, but absolutely NOTHING about technology, so BEWARE. Case in point: I was told that I had to have my device wiped. Well..DUH...Schwab...you can do that right from the device -- a complete "factory data reset". In fact, Samsung's official website states that you will have a "clean slate." Oh..contraire...that doesn't suffice for Schwab; it must be done by a third-party shop. Guess what? The shop said: "There "is nothing wrong with the phone, so we can't wipe it." Unlike computers that use RAM memory (physical chips that you can add) where a bad actor could potentially reside, cell phones are one solid state drive. One would have to carve out a niche in memory and cloak their nefarious activity. Moreover, if that were the case, your device would not operate properly. Is it possible? Perhaps. Is it probable? Hardly. Now, let's say that one party in a marriage is cheating. You can install software that will track activity and send it off site. But you need physical access to the phone to do it. Don't ever do business here. There are other reputable choices. This is the whole truth and nothing but the truth, without hyperbole. Thank you for reading this review.
