My first perfume came and was clearly stale, (wet dog base) with no sillage whatsoever and then before my second perfume arrived they took £19 out of my bank account. I’d signed up to pay £13 a month (p&p included) so what’s that about?

I signed up last month for the standard plan costing £12.24 only to be charged more this month. When I asked why this is I was told it is because scent box operate from america and therefore can’t account for exchange rates and my subscription price will vary month to month. I think it is highly disingenuous to advertise a UK website/branch and not have a clear disclaimer or to not have fixed prices. The nature of a subscription is that the price is the same every month.I would also like to add that the reply rate of their customer service email is very slow due to the time difference and again when advertising as a UK branch there should be a UK customer service desk. Their delivery to the UK takes up to 15 days despite advertising themselves as having a UK branch. I am debating cancelling my subscription. Overall I wanted to love it but am feeling quite disheartened as their website is very misleading.
