Thank you for choosing Savvy to book your trip and we’re glad you took the time to let us know about your experience. We did want to mention that Trustpilot reviews are intended to reflect your experience with Savvy as the booking platform. It sounds like much of your review is about the vacation rental and your stay, which is managed by the professional host rather than Savvy. We’d encourage you to share this review directly with the host or on the property’s review page as well, as they’ll be the ones who can best review your feedback and use it to continue improving the guest experience. Thank you again for your review and we hope to help you save again on a future stay!

Thank you so much for the feedback and for giving Savvy a try! We wanted to clarify that the price difference was due to taxes being added before final payment, not a sudden increase in the nightly rate itself. That said, we definitely know that can still feel surprising in the moment and we’re continuing to look for ways to make pricing even clearer throughout the booking process. The good news is that even after taxes and fees were included, your stay on Savvy still came out to more than $500 less than the same property on Airbnb. Helping travelers find the best value possible is exactly why we built Savvy, so we really appreciate you giving us a chance and sharing your experience with us! Thank you again and we hope you enjoy your upcoming stay!

Thanks for sharing your feedback and we’re sorry for the initial frustration. While Savvy facilitates the booking, reservations and cancellations are managed directly by the host, which caused some initial confusion. Once we were made aware of the issue, our team immediately contacted the host with you included to clarify the cancellation process. The host confirmed the reservation was cancelled within the hour and we’re glad we could help resolve this quickly. Thank you for booking with Savvy and if you have any further questions or concerns, we’re here to help.

Hi James, Thanks for your feedback, and we're sorry the gift card process felt frustrating. Our current system includes a few manual steps to prevent fraud and ensure rewards go to verified bookings. Because on Savvy, you pay the host directly to avoid service fees, we can only offer them as cash back instead of at the point of sale, which also makes things more cumbersome. That said, it shouldn't feel this hard. We're actively working to streamline the process and make it easier for everyone. We appreciate you sticking with it and helping us improve.

Hi Suzy, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I’m truly sorry to hear about the frustration you've faced trying to redeem your gift cards. We completely understand how disappointing it can be when a gift doesn't feel as seamless to use as expected. Savvy works a bit differently from traditional booking platforms. We’re a book-direct marketplace, which means guests book directly with professional hosts. This setup is what allows us to save travelers 15–20% on service fees compared to other platforms. However, it also means that hosts must opt in to accept gift cards, which can sometimes make the redemption process more complex than we'd like. We do want to make it easier to find properties that accept gift cards directly. That’s why we’ve added a filter to our site that lets you view only listings that accept Savvy gift cards directly. You can find more information, including instructions and tips for redeeming your card, at: 👉 https://finderco.my.site.com/help/s/savvy-gift-cards/travelers Regarding the one gift card per stay policy, this is in place to help prevent misuse, such as purchasing a card after selecting a property simply to stack discounts. We understand this can be frustrating in cases like yours, and we do notify gift card purchasers about this limit during checkout so expectations are clear. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’re always working to improve the experience. If you’d like help finding a property that accepts gift cards directly, we’d be happy to assist. Just reach out to [email protected] and we’ll walk through it with you. Warmly, The Savvy Team

Hello, we're sorry to hear that you've had issues with some of the property management systems. We require this from our hosts because it is the only way we can ensure up-to-date content, pricing, availability, etc. We would love to help you find a software that fits your needs. We have plenty of hosts that use our software partners as small businesses. With some partners that start at $10/month/property, depending on your number of properties, there are options for everyone. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
