I use their service to turn in and Google pixel 8. Estimates on internet web thing we're. running around 150 to $200. Save gadget offered me 150 bucks. So I decided to just send it in to them. About a week later I get an email that says the SIM card reader is broken and they'll give me $15 for the phone. I responded that everything was functional when I sent it in. I asked them to send the phone back to me. I would do something more reasonable with it than $15. Save gadget then came back and said that they had reviewed the phone and the SIM card reader was not working. There were a few scratches on the phone but they would go ahead and offer me $115. Seems a bit shady to me. There are an awful lot of good reviews on here which was what prompted me to go ahead with them. Anyway. I will not be counted among those.

Wish I would have read reviews before choosing SaveGadgets.com, The poor reviews were spot-on with my experience. Initial offer was $631 and they reduced to $500. Said my phone had scratches on the frame, it did not. Then when I refused offer, they countered with$525 price. This is a classic "Bait and Switch" scam. Do yourself a favor and ChatGP SaveGadgets.com before considering - Everything Chat said about their shady practices, I experienced first hand. Also, communications is very poor. Horrible experience. Do not recommend.

Hi Tony, We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you felt disappointed with your experience. We take every concern seriously and always aim to provide fair, transparent evaluations. After reviewing your order, our senior technician confirmed during a second inspection that the device had visible scratches on the frame and that the screen was previously replaced by Apple — verified through Apple’s service history. Because of this, the phone could not be listed as Mint Condition under industry grading standards, which is why the offer was adjusted. SaveGadget has never engaged in “bait and switch” practices — all offers are based strictly on the actual condition of each device upon inspection, whether that means an increase or decrease in value. Our goal is always to be fair, transparent, and to work with our customers until they’re satisfied. If you’d like to revisit this and find a resolution, we’d still be happy to assist. Please contact us at [email protected]. SaveGadget.com Team

I submitted my phone to them. They followed up with a message stating that the back glass was detached from the frame and that the phone was damaged. They adjusted their offer twice prior to me requesting my device back after lowballing their initial counter offer stating that it was damaged. This phone was used daily with no issues prior to them receiving it. There is a clear pry mark on the bottom right-hand side of the screen that is now irreparable and the back glass of the phone is now detached where it wasn't before. I wish I had dealt with anyone else other than this company. I wish that a zero-star review was an option, but one-star will have to suffice for this experience.

I had 3 iPhones that were in cases with screen protectors on them the entire time. The quote I received online was almost double what they ended up emailing me with. They claimed there were scratches on a screen that has never been touched. Be cautious when choosing this company. I could have gotten this same pricing from local places without dealing with the shipping and waiting for a payout.

They have misleading listings and selling barely functional devices that aren't even comparable with what they listed. Do not trust them. Ofc they get to charge 15% restocking fees to line their pockets for their trash listings. Just buy anywhere else

Hi George, We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience. However, we’d like to clarify a few important details for accuracy. The device you purchased was clearly listed as Fully Functional and in Fair condition, with wear and tear expected and described in the product listing. While we understand condition ratings can be subjective, we follow consistent industry standards for grading, and all functionality is tested before shipment. Despite the phone matching the described condition and functionality, we still accepted your return and issued a refund. We believe that was a fair resolution and were happy to honor it to ensure a smooth return process. We stand behind our products and our policies, and we’re always open to feedback when it’s constructive and factual. – The SaveGadget Team

Made an offer for our phone. Then when it arrived, in the exact state we described, they basically said it's too broken and they can only recycle it. Seems like a big scam. Edit/update: The company after seeing my review was magically able to get it turned on after a "senior" engineer reviewed it. They've offered me the original money in exchange for removing this negative review. I won't be bribed and will be turning over their emails to Trust pilot

Hi Graham, We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your feedback. Upon inspection, we found that the device does not power on and is iCloud locked. As outlined in our trade-in policy, we require all devices to be fully signed out of iCloud and to power on so we can verify key details like IMEI or serial number. Without this, we’re unable to offer payment and can only provide free recycling. We give the option to have the device returned at no cost. However, you confirmed that you'd prefer to recycle it. I have sold old phones before but I chose SaveGadget to sell to this time. I sent a phone with damage but a $20 offer was it. So I refused at they offered $50. This business does not give fair market value and once they have your phone it cost more in postage than it's worth, so you're out of luck. Horrible company and should be avoided they are going to fleece you. My opinion and experience .

Hi David, We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your experience. However, we’d like to clarify a few important details for anyone reading this. You submitted an order for an iPhone 14, but the device we received was an iPhone 12 with damage camera and camera lens. After inspecting the phone, we provided a revised quote based on the actual model and condition—which you reviewed and accepted. Once accepted, payment was promptly issued. We strive to be transparent and fair in all our evaluations. Our offers are based on accurate device model, condition, and current market value, and customers are always free to decline and have their device returned. We understand frustrations can arise, but it’s important to share the full story. —The SaveGadget Team
