We were very pleased with our vacation to Chile,Easter Island, Patagonia, and atacama! The trip was complex as we travelled to Easter Island, Atacama in the north, and Torres del Paine in the south. The plane reservations were excellent and all of the transfers by CTS were punctual, courteous, and extremely spoiling! Given all of our flights, the transfers made a difficult trip so much easier. The local tours and guides were great everywhere. The guides were friendly,knowledgeable and courteous and all of the drivers were careful, safe, and professional. The hotels (3 stars) were all excellent especially Hotel Las Torres which was all inclusive and the food was excellent. South america vacations did a great job with all of the arrangements and we were very happy with the value.

We received excellent service from beginning to end from South American Vacations. Martha Cohen took one of their existing itineraries and tailored it make for a more enjoyable trip. She told us to spend extra days in certain locations to so we could enjoy the trip at a more leisurely pace. She also was able to get us a business class airfare to Easter Island at only a little more than economy. The hotels in Santiago, Easter Island and Torres Del Paine NP were all excellent, with the Tierra Patagonia in Torres Del Paine NP being a great travel experience unto itself. The service and knowledge of South American Vacations made this one of our best trips ever!

My wife and I decided to book a trip to Chile for Jan. 2017. We did very little research other than wanting to see the Atacama desert and Chile's Patagonia. I did an internet search and found several companies specializing in tours of Chile and South America. We wanted a luxury type hotel experience with individual tours, transfers and business class flights. I emailed Alan and Martha at South American Vacations with our requests. They followed up immediately and put together an amazing itinerary. Their package was more economical than the big advertisers on the web. We had no experience with this company prior to my internet search. HAVE NO WORRIES about booking with this company. WE had nonstop flights from NYC to Santiago / Business class. The transfer to the hotels and internal airports were seamless. The tour company used within Chile , CTS/ was excellent. The city tour of Santiago and the wine region by CTS were individual and were great. Martha had booked us into Tierra Properties in the Atacama Desert area and in Patagonia. These are ECO-Friendly all inclusive hotels with amazing rooms, food and excursions as part of the package. Highly recommend these properties. I did Trip Advisor reviews.She booked hotel stays in Santiago at the Singular Hotel ,a boutique hotel, excellent/ great location and the Hyatt. WE had no travel worries using this tour group. I have given their names to friends after showing the amazing pictures of this trip...

Martha, at South American Vacations did a terrific job planning our trip. Everything in our itinerary was as described. The representatives who met us at airports were excellent, and in one case when we had a tight time span to catch a plane in Santiago, the rep speed up our boarding pass process and we made our flight to Ca lama. Martha was also very good getting back to us when we had questions during the trip. The guides in both the Atacama and Easter Island were also informative and appeared to enjoy sharing their knowledge of their area. The hotels in most cases exceeded expectations for three star hotels. Mother Nature was the only stumble along our way as we missed two tour stops because of road wash outs. Starting with the arrival in Santiago de Chile, we were picked up by a guide and a driver wearing a tie and in a very nice van. Very friendly. The hotels were great. They exceeded our expectations. We felt at home. They even squeezed in a day trip to Vina del Mar. We loved Chile and Eastern Island, awesome trip!
