I booked a wedding for next year, only to find out (through Facebook groups and not actually sandals) that given the current restrictions in Barbados that run until 1 June and are getting worse by the day, that I wouldn't actually be able to get married on that date or at all if I didn't get a 2nd PCR test once on the island - incurring a further cost. Lost £300 cancelling.. the weddings are even mis-sold and the planners were useless. AVOID.

This plantation doesn’t even deserve a one star. This was the worst vacation I’ve ever taken in my life. The arrival presentation was great. The food was great! I can’t see how these people have the audacity to look down on anyone that spends money to come here. We was discriminated against by people that look like us. These are some of the worst people I’ve ever met but how? Attitudes and the rudeness like they are the royal ones. News flash...Not! The room was given with bloody sheets, rug was filthy with dog hair, and stains everywhere. The first asthma attack, I’ve had in a long long time. Why would you give a room like that and almost refused to make the change. The room and the property needs to be updated. They tell you about using the loop but doesn’t accept or address the negatives. A motel is better and will give better service than this place. They treated the others better, thinking them people gone give them something and I observed several times during my stay staff being talked to like they where sh.t on the ground. I laughed because they treated us like we was invisible. Getting drinks from the bar was a nightmare for us but not the others. Also photographers must thought the others was the only one to buy those high as. pictures outside of the ones with an appointment. We was passed by or was told to make a appointment. The eating area by the pool just ☠️. I don’t understand? How can you live like these people live and treat people wrong? Our 10 years anniversary was sabotaged by these people. It was so Chaotic on my special day. I cried so much, I wanted to tear up the restaurant. The list goes on with not enough time to tell the horrible 5 days we spent on the plantation. On the 6th day a manager told me there was an alert placed on our room number to give expedited service because all the complaints/ concerns that was placed on the loop. Now all of a sudden people started getting overly friendly, I didn’t know why until the manager told me. Shame on them for being fake. I thought the director DaWaye and the manager Moise was real caring people but I found out they both a Fake. See the problem for this plantation is you don’t know who comes to bless the land or curse the land. God sees everything. All I can tell them is prepare!!!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH SANDALS!!!! I booked a trip on November 9th 2020. Because of an error on Sandal's part, and the trip was cancelled the same day. I was told it would take 21 days to refund the money. After 21 days, I called and they said 21 "business" days. I have had nothing but the run around AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY MONEY over a MONTH later. It's quite amusing that the money came out of my account IMMEDIATELY but over a month later it still has not been returned.

Our flights were cancelled 14 days from our trip and we had no way to make it to Grenada for our honeymoon. They refused to refund our money because it was within 14 days! This is during a pandemic. They were not flexible at all. I never write reviews. But this was such a bad experience with what we thought was a company with a high reputation. Would never recommend to anyone! There is a feeling that they will steal your money if they get the chance!

Refusing to refund our trip that they cancelled due to covid. Now we are out thousands during a pandemic! absolute crooks and everyone should stay far away!!!

This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I've been on the phone for over and hour and a half trying to cancel my reservations and I've spoken to FIVE people and keep getting transferred to another person. I've also been hung up on once. I will never use Sandals to book a vacation again. Still on the phone.......

Absolute crooks! Cancelled our trip due to Covid and refuse to refund our money! Do not book through them! Been calling constantly for months and they either are rude or hang up ! Horrid!

Just to keep everyone informed about the fraudulent practices of Sandals customer service. We cancelled our trip due to covid and they refused to refund us so we are dealing with another fraudulent entity named trip mate insurance. But back to Sandals we took the initiative to contact American Airlines to refund the customer of our flight since Sandals didn’t even care or try on our behalf. American refunded our flight cost but to our surprise it was refunded back to Sandals. We contacted them and after being repeatedly put on hold they told us we were being charged $200 of our flight due to cancellation. And the refund will take 6-8 weeks to get to us. These criminals had nothing to do with getting our refund yet they hold all the cards and rob us if our money. I will never, ever again deal with these ignorant people. Not only are we fighting for our money back they robbed us of money that a decent company like American Airlines processed without incident. I hope Sandals goes bankrupt. Then decent people will no longer get robbed of their hard earned money. Beware of these criminals.
