My company has spent more than 20k to build the API links to our ECM software to support routing and digital Proof of Delivery documents with Samsara. This was our primary reason for selecting them over a year ago and proved to be a costly mistake. Capturing the signatures from the mobile devices into the Samsara cloud does not work 20% of the time. Also, routes are limited to 20 stops (we can have routes with up to 30 stops) and the route optimization routine is almost useless. Finally, after 8 months of no real support for the signature and routing issues we had to give up and only use Samsara for vehicle tracking and the driver cams. All our investment in API programming, troubleshooting, new phones for the drivers so they could get routes and digital signatures from our customers has been wasted. The phones sit idle and drivers get signatures on paper invoices. Their first level support is very nice and helpful for basic issues but have no API knowledge, next level support is totally unresponsive, except to say "We are looking into it". Samsara is great for the basics of GPS tracking, Vehicle management and driver cams. But be careful thinking it will do reliable routing or trying to integrate with the API, you could end up in a costly rabbit hole without end like us.

As a driver, Functionality of the device is very simple almost grade schoolish. However, my device kept going into Off Duty mode while I was driving. Like 4-5 hours driving. Then it would also subtractt hours I had left to drive and completely disappeared to Zero. Would have to sit for 8 hours to get hours back when I had 6-7 hours before they disappeared. Called my company about it, nobody had answers.

The product is inferior and their customer service and communication are horrendous. They just do not care about the customer and haven't been flexible with COVID relief.

This company blatantly harasses other companies. I had expressed a modicum of interest 3 years ago for my company, what a massive mistake. I get dozens of calls at my company multiple times a week, as well as about 5-7 emails despite us repeatedly asking them not to contact us any longer. This has been ongoing for 2.5 years now and they refuse to stop contacting us. I have requested a cease of communications from no less than 15 different reps. They don’t listen. There’s not a chance in the world I would purchase their product even if we were interested just because of the sheer amount of spam they throw at us. It’s incredibly unbecoming of the company as a whole.

Initially signed with Samsara because of some functionality in their product but from there it goes downhill fast. Once they "got" us, trying to reach out to anyone who can make decisions is impossible. And don't bother trying to make a simple change to your account with significant effort. In hindsight, we will not renew nor would i recommend them with options like Keeptruckin( for one) around. Nothing is simple with Samsara.

They keep charging my card for product I don't have for the whole year . I called trying to resolve the problem they told me u haven't returned the product which I have returned it . They will rip u off if u dont pay attention to there billing department. Replying to there message buttom yes I have called yall many times email u yall to resolve the problem yall haven't done sh"##& I been paying for product that I don't have and assets don't work i am ripping them off since I paid for the whole year and u suspending my account

They work great. Everyone should know every business has issues. It’s the ones that step up and fix the issues and take care of customer that make The good ones stand out. That is samsara.

Samsara has failed its obligations We talked with Samsara, agreed to utilize them. Customer service was horrible. Samsara changed their platform, and amidst multiple times, the system degraded, there were known issues where the system lost connection and did not document anything. Reporting changed to criteria we used to analyze drivers. Samsara would not fix it. We continued for months to rectify the issue, spending time and money. Finally, we said it would not work without the improvements and changes, cancelled the contract, are now being told we will be upheld to the contract that Samsara failed to deliver. Your company is unprofessional and needs to cancel the contract due to failure to deliver per contract agreement. I will not be paying you either way, so you will be seeing me in court, and I have every intention of doing this until you release me from your failed product. I will continue to blast this to all media possible until the problem is resolved. Though I doubt you be honorable, in which I will stop stating things like this, if you do, I will walk away and say nothing further, but I can tell you I have steered my clients in a different direction because of your poor service.
