Yeh, you gotta be careful with this lot. I bought the $10 option too, and they make it VERY hard for you to do that with 3 screens trying to get you to upgrade before you can finally buy. Didn't immediately receive the pdf's I bought but I am getting spammed by them now to watch videos that appear to have pdf supporting docs I can download, but these vids are drip-fed to me via email day by day. That's not what I ordered. The true scam with this lot and it is an absolute SCAM is that as I tried to find the PDF's that never arrived I signed up for their site. Looking in the account section I found they'd set me up for a repeated yearly fee of like $160 or something like that. I immediately unsubscribed. Wrote to their support email. NO REPLY. This was bought as part of a podcast episode about dodgy dealings on social media. That episode will go out in December. ps They've put up loads of seemingly legit reviews of themselves online - at a glance, you may find them legit but BEWARE

They scam you with an 10 dollar ad
They scam you with an 10 dollar ad. Make you believe you can get a refund for 365 days, than add 500 dollars or more in your checkout and ignore your emails.

Horrible
Horrible, unethical behavior with Sam Cart and company! Whether you use their service, or not, avoid their lies and subscription deceitfulness with your credit card information! Don't bite their bait of the free webinar for their services. They are scammers! They auto renew without your authorization, and no email notice 7-14 days in advance, and claim that you want their ongoing services despite the fact that they can clearly see that you have not used their services for an entire year before (that you have rightfully paid for). They don't care that their services are not used; they only fraudulently use your credit card to renew without your express approval! Maddening beyond words, and so unethical considering that their CEO and business partners host these amazing FREE webinars to get your initial business and credit card info. Be aware: they have your credit card info and then you have to work with your bank card company to dispute their fraudulent charges AND cancel your credit card because their website gives you no way to remove your credit card info. Scammers! Then, their foreign customer service 'specialist' type in custom responses to your concerns about their fraudulent charges to your credit card. "They are so empathetic and so sorry for your upset that they fraudulently charged you a renewal of $349!" These companies need to be exposed and stopped!

Avoid their subscription ploy
Avoid their subscription ploy, whereby they automatically renew your subscription, WITHOUT sending you a reminder that your renewal is coming up, which is what reputable subscription services do.
I signed on a year a go and then, for a variety of reasons, never used them and then just got a bill on my charge card for $349 (which I have no intention of paying). This is not a company to do business with!

I purchased the Sam cart course…
I purchased the Sam cart course building course for what was told to me a one time fee. They told me it would only take 14 days to create my course. This is a lie! If you had nothing else to do other than just build your course for 14 days 10 hours a day you could do that, but no one has that kind of time. It takes months and months because you have to create multiple videos beside write the content. Now they are telling me that I signed up for a yearly plan and they just charged my checking account $349!
They refused to give me a refund so I want everyone to beware that this company does not back up they’re offering. The fact that they would not refund it to me after I have never utilized their course at all, nothing has been used and they can see it from my account, but they still insist on charging me $349 for nothing! I am going to continue to make a dispute with my bank but I want everyone to be aware do not get involved with this company they do not back up their course. You will be like me one year later having not utilized anything after paying over $300 for it and then get hit with a yearly subscription!

SamCart not as caring as they claim!
I do not think that writing this review will make any difference to Brian Moran and the SamCart team.
I bought the product last year, and it noted "lifetime" access, but I did not notice that the product would be billed yearly and that an automatic renewal was placed on my account with my vendor.
I immediately contacted SamCart to ask for a refund as I will not use the product and have NOT used it in nearly a year because it is NOT the best product in the market. Jennifer H. then informed me that it is billed a year in advance and that I will not be getting a refund.
The landing page states:
1. Am I locked into a subscription?
Absolutely not! You're never locked into any subscription or long-term contract with SamCart.
and
2. What happens when my SamCart yearly subscription renews?
After your first year, if you want to keep using SamCart, you can continue using it, and you will be grandfathered into this 40% discounted rate for as long as you're a customer. You can always change to monthly billing or upgrade to another plan if you want, and it's totally up to you.
I, unfortunately, got trapped in all the hype and numerous sales funnels they offer. If you are looking for a product to sell online courses, I suggest you review all your options and your contract with SamCart.

SamCart's business practices are not…
SamCart's business practices are not 100% ethical.
In their sales process they manage to "accidentally" imply that their cheapest package gives you the ability to add up-sells and cross-sells (it doesn't). They also pretend you can easily create mobile optimised sales pages. Even their most popular templates are not optimised out of the box.
They pretend that their software will turn you into a successful digital products entrepreneur when in fact it is simply a way to create one-page sales and cart/checkout webpages.
They ran a live weekly "How to sell with Facebook Ads" tutorial in which they set up Facebook ads to send people to a landing page. They abandoned the series after week 3 and buried it completely, halfway through, they just never showed up for week 4. I believe they did this because their ads weren't working. The promise was that they could show us how to get good traffic to a landing page at a profit-making rate. But in the live Facebook environment they couldn't actually do it. In week 2 they said they needed to 'tweak and optimise', in week 3 their cost per click was still way too high so they said would 'keep testing'. In week 4 they just didn't host the tutorial, a complete no show, never to be seen again.
They were hosting a weekly online Facebook live or Zoom call where they promised to help people figure out what digital products to sell. It was a shemozzle. Sometimes the host couldn't figure out the tech, sometimes he didn't show up. Questions weren't answered, unflattering comments were ignored. The actual content was poorly structured American "ra ra" think positive fluff.
Their pre-recorded video tutorials have fancy production values but don't follow basic teaching methods and the content is disorganised and delivered badly.
They have an online course add-on so you can sell courses. It's not very user-friendly. It doesn't host videos so you need to host them externally. Other course platforms like teachable and thinkific do a better job of the same thing, for less $$.
I think they used fake identities to purchase copies of my first product (I've got not proof of this). This made me think my conversion rate was around 10% and encouraged me to pay for the SamCart software. That conversion rate turned out to be a massive overestimation, no one else ever purchased, despite me getting very good traffic. The fact that those two "people" bought it within a day of me sharing it with the Samcart facebook group, but that no one else ever wanted to buy it makes me very sceptical about those two purchasers.
Now Samcart is offering me gift cards for my "feedback" on their software. The feedback survey is a series of very intense questions about my age, gender, business activities, income, revenue, business goals, the number of products I have, the other software I use, etc. etc. It's not an anonymous survey; they collect your email address to "send the gift card". Seems to me that they are collecting data about my business income etc. etc., under the guise of seeking "feedback" on their products. That's bad.
It's not all bad. If you want to create one-page landing and checkout pages and not have to worry about setting up payment systems etc, then SamCart might be right for you. But don't buy into the hype. You need to have a product and know how you are going to sell it first.
You also need to make sure that the upfront cost of SamCart is worth it for you, compared to using a commission-based platform like Etsy or Gumroad where you pay per sale rather than paying everything upfront.

Issue taken care of in timely manner. Credit was issued to me quickly. Thank you !!!
I will have to get back with you on that. Just placed an order for Tapfit THAT HAS BEEN SHOWN ON FaCEBOOK AND THEY SLIPPED IN SOME "LIFETIME"subscription for me that I do not want and that cost $199.00. I immediately emailed them telling them that I wanted that line item deleted from my order. Am awaiting a response, Cynthia Bergstrom
