It's only a checkout without a landing page. It's pretty expensive for what it is. I contacted them about getting a refund for the remainder of the year as I wasn't gonna use it, and they said no. They seem really strict, and that's probably because their product isn't good enough to keep people in the membership. I wouldn't use them again and I don't recommend.

Hey Naveed,
I want to acknowledge you for taking the time to give some feedback about your experience with SamCart. We have been experimenting with a few different cancellation flows, and the feedback you provided is invaluable.
I would be very interested in your feedback as to what happened when you tried to cancel originally, but was unsuccessful, in hopes to try and identify any outstanding bug, or perhaps just enhance the user experience all together.
We appreciate the time you spent with us as a customer, and are working hard to make using SamCart a great experience for all!

Same Scam They Always Pull
Same scam as the other complaints. I paid USD10 for a product that I barely used, emails went to spam. One year later I was ripped off USD120 auto renewal fee. They refused to refund the payment citing terms of service. As you see from multiple other reviews, this deceptive practice is part of their business model.
Update: SamCart have tried to get this review taken down. This is most certainly a review for SamCart. I wanted to post a screenshot showing that the product is "by Camcart" with terms and conditions on SamCarts page, and a a letter from Brian Moran, "Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer" of SamCart. Unfortunately I cannot upload here. Furthermore, not only is Brian Moran's sale's strategy unethical, it seems it may also be illegal in the state of Marland, where the company is based.

Hey Alex,
While checking into your account I see that your purchase was for Creator U with the Traffic Bundle.
This was an introductory product that renews yearly at $120 per year as explained on the page, as well as in the terms of service.
However, Creator U is a separate business than SamCart, and is ran as such with its own team, own website, own terms of service, it also has its own Trust Pilot Account.
SamCart is a Software as a Service provider, Creator U is an education platform.
They are separate businesses. You have never made a purchase, nor been a customer of SamCart.
As such, I would kindly ask that you remove this review, and migrate it over to the CreatorU.com Trust Pilot account so that their customer service team can be notified of your complaint and proper actions may be taken.
Thanks in advance!

They trap you.
Signed up for 7 days free trial, forgot to unsubscribe, got billed 6 times for 120$. Ask for a refund since I had not even made one sale as I moved to another platform. Did not like SamCart and they would not refund. Do not recommend this company.

Hey Joachim,
After a quick investigation into your account, it looks like a more than amicable solution has already been made.
Your account was active from September 18th 2022, through January 18th 2023.
It looks like you requested a refund for all 5 months your account was active, in which a partial refund was provided to you on March 1st 2023.
I understand that it was not the refund you were hoping for and requested, however, we went above and beyond our terms of service to accommodate a refund for you, even though your account was active for 5 months, and the refund request came nearly 1 month after your account was cancelled.
We wish you the best, and hope you find the success you are searching for!

CHARGED an annual fee and Have not used Sam Cart in a year
Have not used Sam Cart in a year. Zero interest in it as it was not for me. Today, my credit card was charged $120.00 for an annual fee. I contacted them to say I do not use or want the services and to refund me the money. They refuse to do so even though they can see that I do not use their services at all. I have asked them repeatedly to refund me and all they will do is give me back $21. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!

Completely Dissatisfied With SamCart's Services
I truly wish that I could give SamCart less than one star!! I used the confusing services of SamCart for approximately 4 months in 2022 and quickly canceled which they had accepted. I canceled because they offered absolutely no help, other than directing you to read their articles and listen to audio tapes. There was no customer service or support line to call. The support was almost non-existent, so as their client I felt like I was on my own and just wasting my hard earned $$.
I thought that I had canceled and moved on only to find that my bank was charged $120 on 4/7/2023, because, according to a Larry L. I had not canceled some CreatorU subscription before some 5-day period before this 2023 renewal! What? A renewal? I wasn't aware of or didn't remember that subscription, and was sure that when I requested the cancelation which they accepted, everything was canceled!!
SamCart is a complete rip-off company, leading you to believe that once they accept a cancelation request everything was canceled, but they silently wait, never with a reminder, and they sneakily slip into your account to deduct the subscription charges. When I saw the bank debit I immediately sent them an email thinking that it was a mistake and requested a refund. Larry L flatly refused to consider my request. I tried several times to explain that as a retiree/senior citizen I felt that I was misled into thinking the cancelation covered everything, but Larry L. spent most of the night, beyond midnight and into the early morning responding to every one one of my emails, even suggesting that I was a disgruntled client.
I read where one male client of SamCart, another retiree, had complained to the BBB, stating that they had debited his bank account for $700 before he realized it was the subscription that had not cancelled, and he had moved on thinking that he had canceled just like I did. And, like me they refused to refund him his funds. Several other complaints showed that they were also scammed the same way. Seems like that's how they make money, by using the subscription feature to scam clients.
Overall, their ratings are pitiful as they are not providing the services they claim to provide so they could have satisfied customers. Why are there so many dissatisfied customers on SamCart? They regularly bombard you with new purchases that the services overlap and become confusing!
Well, I'm not done filing complaints because I think SamCart is a fraudulent company, a huge rip-off, and they don't care if they are ripping off senior citizens or retirees either. My next stop is the FTC.

Silently Charge You a Monthly Subscription
I had a truly awful experience with SamCart. The company charged me for three years without any reminders. Once I discovered this, I could not cancel the service without contacting their support, which took over a week to respond. To add insult to injury, I never used the service for a single transaction. They can hide behind their terms and conditions; in my opinion, this is a very shady way of conducting business, especially in today's climate. I strongly advise against using SamCart for any business needs.

Hey Chris,
We appreciate you leaving a review and letting us know where we can improve our services.
As a Software as a Service provider, the way we bill is for monthly access to the application. You pay in advance for the next 30 days of service. A Receipt is attached to each bank transaction and can be accessed directly from the bank charge.
While taking a look into your account, over the 3 years you were a customer of SamCart, it does appear that there were numerous emails regarding your account with SamCart, new product releases, feature releases, beta testing opportunities, in which your account had opened, read, and even responded to.
It has been our stance in the past that these emails regarding Account Updates which happen on a near monthly basis, along with the charges hitting your account would be an adequate reminder of your active account with SamCart.
However, based on current feedback, we are listening to the voice of our customers and are currently working on additional processes to serve as reminders that each customer is an active and paying customer of SamCart.
As always, we appreciate your feedback, and wish you continued success!

Appalling company
Appalling company, useless product and shady pricing and use of negative option renewals - so that you have to remember, after a year, that you need to cancel your subscription. They do not send out reminders - and this shady practice is rightly being dealt with by the legal system. Im in the UK where this practice is not legal, but apparently I have to remember the contractual details of a product I signed up to a year ago, that I have barely used, as I can't get on with it - and remember to go online to cancel. DO NOT USE - IF THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT UNDERWAY TO SORT OUT THESE FRAUDSTERS, I'LL ADD MY NAME TO THE LIST. DO NOT USE.
