Ordered a guitar through Reverb (still lists Sam Ash as "trusted") since it's sale to a Mexican cartel. Sam promptly sent my guitar to the wrong address in the wrong state (God knoweth how). I used the "contact seller" chat to alert Sam Ash customer service 15 minutes after they sent me tracking, so I caught the shipping mistake before it even left the warehouse and told them. BTW, I live 120 miles from where it was shipped, an afternoon's truck drive. The problem was who "them" was. I was chatting with a bot who replied he'd get back to me "soon". Wonderful customer service! Reverb lists one of Sam Ash's attributes as "quick responder" ironically. Long story short, I didnt hear from Sam-bot for 2 days and the guitar proceeded to the wrong state in a long hot journey doing wonders for a wooden instrument. There was no way to stop it even though caught immediately. Since Sam Ash was sold, it's now an online AI "don't care" company. Dont do business with them through Reverb or any where else and don't buy Reverbs lies about their corporate vendors.

I purchased A new guitar at Sam Ash because of the 17% discount they were offering. The guitar came defective. It wasn't playing properly. I contacted the support team and they said to send it back. They wanted me to pay for shipping costs even though the guitar was defective. I had to take the guitar to a luthier, it cost me close to 200 dls to fix it. I won't be buying from them never again. I had a very bad experience.

They will not warranty product even though they were presented with website guarantee . There are lots of reputable places online to buy , avoid these people .

DON'T BE FOOLED!!! Called customer service about the balance on a music lesson payment card. Not only was the lady rude but all she kept repeating was they no longer honor any gift cards purchased prior to 7/21/24, which is when Sam Ash went bankrupt. CS rep (Lisa) stated this company is Emusic Doing Business As Sam Ash Music and they are not responsible for any liabilities that Sam Ash might have had. She also suggested that I dispute the charge with my CC company but did not offer any type of inhouse resolution. So I say again, don't be fooled. If you think you're doing business with the original Sam Ash Music Company, think again. This is a whole different company simply fronting with the well known Sam Ash name.

Hidden return policy. Purchased a cymbal that won't work out for me and they are telling me I need to go buy my own return shipping, even though this is not stated anywhere on their website. Tried chatting multiple CS reps and they are all refusing to provide a return label.

This place stole my money. I sold them my drum set, they gave me a store credit and now refuse to honor it. Do not buy from here under any circumstances.

Ordered Zildjian Cymbal set from Westminster, Ca. store. Never contacted when it arrived. Had to drive there to check. Was promised a gift certificate and never received it. Emailed to enquire about using the gift cert. on another purchase and no answer. Won't deal with them again with such poor regard for customers.
