I have been using SalutHaiti for over 2 years now to recharge phone minutes to families in Haiti. Great experience, fast and reliable. I wish they would also get in the food market so I can send food to family in Haiti.

Hi JEAN, No worries about it. We've opened up a ticket to investigate what happened, and will be back on email with details and the solution / resolution. We can assure you you haven't lost money. We are only charging for transactions that go through. When the local operator has a technical problem, which could be the cause here (we're waiting for their answer at this point), you are not charged, and money is returned on your card. Keep in touch by email, and thank you for your understanding! P.S. Please check your account, My Information tab. You managed to collect 1,910 Thank You points you can now convert into $19.10 Voice Credit for free international calls.

The fees charged are over the top when using natcom and to receive refund on mistakes made by saluthaiti.com is very hard to retreive funds.
Response from SalutHaiti.comMar 12, 2019
Hi Jean! The fee depends on the amount of credit you are sending to the destination number and it is usually defined by the operator. We can cancel the transaction (if there was a mistake involved) while it is "Pending" that is still being processed on our side. Once the credit is received by the destination number (and this number exists, although it is not the one intended), there is no possible way to retrieve it, since there are multiple financial institutions and protocols involved and the number is in use, therefore we cannot prove it is not the number intended to be credited. Please always double check if the number you enter is correct before you go proceed to payment. Thank you for your understanding and for being with us!

You keep the 1 dollars for 69.99 gourdes, while it is 85 gourdes
Response from SalutHaiti.comFeb 13, 2019
Hello Serge! Thank you for your feedback, but there is an explanation. MobileRecharge is a transfer of goods service, not a currency exchange service. That's why you cannot have the conversion you have with a financial institution, like your bank for example. It works differently. Mobile Recharge includes multiple international transactions, and exchange services too. That's why the amount you send may not always match the exact exchange value. It depends from transaction to transaction, operator to operator, country to country. If you have any other doubts, please contact us at 1866-535-8095 Customer Support. Thank you for your understanding!
