Saltwaterfish.comReviews of saltwaterfish.com

Livestock arrived well packed and well shipped. Seven different invert specimens, all arrived alive and have done well in my aquarium. Good service, would recommend. Some specimens a little smaller than the norm, but all healthy. Macro algae ordered did not seem to be the weight that I was expecting, and so came about as extremely high priced in my opinion.

Great customer service but I have had issues with fish that don't live and one late shipment

Fast shipping, but lost my yellow leather, it never recovered from the shipping plus my derasa clam didn't make it either. I have had some really good luck and not so good luck with what I have ordered.

When I received the box it was warm/hot to the touch. My 10 blue hermit crabs came steamed in the bag their little bodies were outside the shells. Only 1 survived the cross country journey. The mandarin dragonet I purchased was on its death bed. I quickly began the process acclimating her but she didn't make it long. She also had ich. I was extremely happy with my Hammer WYSIWYG frag. It is doing great and has two heads! The rest of my Coral and WYSIWYG was great. My order was shipped from CA not FL like I was expecting. I suspect the box overheated in the FEDEX truck the day of delivery. It wasn't delivered to me until late in the day.

Small company feel, responsive sales and customer service folks on the other end of the phone/chat. Packaging was good and the fish arrived well. The only drawback to the small company feel was a less detailed acclimation instruction sheet, which at times conflicted with the acclimation video on the website (e.g. Anemone: a bag or drip), one (of 5) fish seems to hover at the top of the tank and doesn't look like they will make it.

Everything came, alive and I don't remember when I received my order but but everything is still doing awesome.

I love the quality of the fish and packaging received from each order I've placed with saltwaterfish.com. Everything ever received has been healthy. The only issue I would have is that some of the free fish received from coupons have been very small, but other than that, no complaints!

The fish I wanted most from my order did not pass inspection 2 weeks in a row, so I had to choose a different fish. The 5 fish I did get all arrived in very good condition.
