Both fish I ordered were sent to their death. They came at a very cold time but ensured me that they would be packaged up and warm. Right if this was fresh water fish the bag would have been a block of ice no heat inside packaging but newspaper. Customer service was rude over the phone when asked how to do the refund. Got refund back roughly 3 weeks later.

I placed an order of approx $180 which including using $61 in store credit. Fish were shipped WITHOUT A WARM PACK during a nationwide cold snap. i notified Saltwaterfish.com by email within 5 min of arrival that several specimens were either dead or dying and that there had been no warm pack. Rec'd an email in return referencing their general guarantee (but no warning to read the fine print, and no mention of the 5 hour rather than 15 day portion) and to send pictures of the bodies. Of the 6 fish, 4 were DOA and I took photos. It was a couple of days before I could get someone to upload the photos, I am not technologically adept. A 5th fish died the next day (sole survivor in the order was 1 damsel) but by the time I could get to it the scavengers had reduced it to being unrecognizable, so I just let it go. Now they tell me that rather than refund my entire amount of loss, I am only receiving a portion because store credit was used in the purchase. I spent valid money with them to begin with, now twice as much in additional cash beyond the store credit. They improperly shipped the fish which were DOA. Now they are deducting a portion of the refund from every item I purchased so that I am only receiving a partial refund. I called and spoke to customer service who basically told me I should have sent photos of the improper packaging and should have sent it within 5 hours. I guess that was in the fine print somewhere. And that it's too bad, but credit for dead fish is only good if they don't send you more dead fish. Buyer beware, I will never use these people again.

Received half of the livestock dead. Didn't honor guaranty. Instead of crediting me $100+ they gave me $4.

The worst business I have ever purchased from!!!!! If your fish dies you get store credit if you order another with this credit and it dies they don’t give you a refund! Is a total scam?

This is getting a bit sad, company appears unable to answer phone, email or fulfill my order. Current have been on hold for hour plus, stupid to think they are going to answer and likely point will not be taken serious but the communication here is one sided. They seem to think they have the upper hand and customer is of little value.Funny how their message indicate my call is very important, joke?

I ordered just under $100. In sea life. On arrival 3 of the seven fish where DOA and another one passed within 24 hours. I followed the acclimation process and received a whole 9.99 in store credit. Tried call and spent over an hour on hold just trying to talk to a person to no avail. Will never order here again!!!!

I am very disatisfied will never order from them again
