Saltwater fish.com shipped me fish that died within two days. They gave me a store credit for those fish. But if I use that store credit I will get charged the $25 for shipping even if I make an additional purchase to reach the $75 free shipping option. So basically my money was flushed down the toilet.

They ship dead merchandise and then offer “store credit only”. Next order also arrived dead. They don’t credit anyone twice-regardless of whether they shipped dead fish twice. Their policy is to simply milk you. Their fish are sick or dead. Corals are usually sick. Horrible customer service, terrible product. Save your money

Well first off you can't use credit from the dead fish and free shipping promos together. So your forced to buy more sick fish and pay shipping on top of it if you use your store credit, thats a bunch of crap! Cutomer service is a joke, you would think they would want happy customers. Theres always going to be a bad review and I really don't want to be that guy but these people suck, and the fish are not in the best shape, well the ones that live. The least they could do is give you free shipping after 5 fish die they sent me, there a joke!

I ordered a marble cat shark. They called and said it did not pass inspection. They said thry had a smaller one though. I said send the smaller one. Then i got another call saying they were all out but had a coral banded shark. I said send that then. When package arrived, i opened it up to find no shark. But rather a shark egg wrapped in a leaky plastic bag. The egg was definately a dead egg as well because if was not completely submerged in water due to leaky bag. The bag looked like it was cut witha razor blade from one end to the other. Maybe overfilled with air and popped like a ballloon? The rest of my stuff was poorly packed as well. Low water and tipped over on their sides.

Guaranteed overnight forced to pay extra on top of that. Today marks second shipment of same fish since first order all died and now second shipment will be a day late and probably kill them again. Need to get a better carrier for deliveries customers deserve overnight when that’s what is told. Will never order here again!!!!

Stay away! After a really bad first experience with my first order, in which my order was not shipped on the date that I had arrange, the delivery was then delayed 4 days obviously all the livestock( which included fish, coral, clams were DOA). I decided to give them a second chance, but once again the order was not shipped on time, so it is very clear that this company does not care for people's time and once they take your money the customer is the last thing on their minds. Onto, the livestock all the fish arrived in poor health conditions, for the past 10 years I've make sure to put new additions to my quarantine system before adding them to the display tanks. Within 8 days of the delivery I've lost 4 out 5 fish. In the last 2 years I've lost 2 fish out 30 that I haven't bought at saltwaterfish.com, I'm pretty confident that I have the experience to care for marine life and this is definitely just unhealthy specimens provided by this company. I've been calling for the past 3 days and it seems like they either don't want to answer the phones or they don't have employees. I don't want to use they guarantee because then I would be force to spend more money on a company than doesn't care about their customers or they animals. Stay away.

Unacceptable experience. I paid full price for fish. Dead soon after delivery, looked bad in bag. Got credit easily for my purchase. Went to buy much more, over $200 more. Qaulified for free ship and 20% off. Could not use "my money" , my credit. They said you can't combine to promos. I spoke to them, said that's my money, has nothing to do with deal. They said they could not help. I lowered my purchase to less than $120, to use my credit. They lost a good purchase and customer. I really spoke kindly, they would not budge... Sad...
