Saltwaterfish.comReviews of saltwaterfish.com

They are completely dishonest and do not believe their so called guarantee. I am an experienced aquarist and fish from them are the only ones I've had die prematurely. They don't honor their guarantee. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card and never purchasing from them again. There are many other vendors that honor their guarantee so I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

My first order with Saltwaterfish.com. I ordered a Lineatus Wrasse and he came in a little beat up, unfortunately he died a few hours after the 15 day guarantee ended. I paid $200, and he's dead. I'd order from Liveaquaria where they will extend the guarantee of their livestock, and their customer service is much better. I called and their service reps, and said they could do nothing. STAY AWAY!!! Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

This is the third time I have ordered from them all of there fish died and spread ick to my tank and killed some of my fish and they did nothing I left a review on there fish but they only show reviews they want you to see will not order again

I have ordered 3 animals from this company. I have one that has survived. I received a porcupine puffer and a bubble anemone on first order. The puffer had ich which I treated and is now doing well. The anemone was bleached (only color was on foot) and in poor condition on arrival. The anemone died. I received a store credit for anemone. Now a couple months later I decided to try to use store credit. Can't be used with any other discount. I got $48.99 credit for anemone. I ordered the blonde naso tang it arrived today in very poor condition (barely breathing) and after acclimating carefully to a 20 gallon quarantine tank it died this evening. They do not issue any credit on an order using store credit. So the extra $50 (shipping & packaging) I spent on the tang is now also gone. I feel bad for the animals and my money too. Terrible experience. I have several saltwater tanks and do my research to take care of these animals responsibly. At least my puffer Happy is thriving now. I am hoping for some type of action from saltwaterfish.

Been waiting on a paid order for over six weeks. They already have my money. The order has "not passed inspection" twice, hence I have received nothing. Now I am hearing they don't have one of my items. They make no attempt to follow up on unfulfilled orders, instead it is YOU who must continuously follow up with them to try and get a resolution. The first time I ordered from them, no issues. This time has been a disaster. $160 of my money taken, nothing delivered. Not good

I have had many passed experiences where 1 or 2 of my fish were dead upon arrival and no big deal. This last shipment of mine had many many items and all but a few were dead upon arrival. The cool pack that was in the box was warm and the size of the items were extremely small (smaller than described). When I did my guarantee I was credited the money but since it was just under the free shipping limit, I still had to purchase more items to equal that amount to avoid paying the almost 30$ for shipping. So I did. When I went to check out, and added my credit, it deducted that and took my free shipping off so I was back to spending nearly an extra 100$ to get the shipping for free. This is upsetting when you pay for something and then can’t use the credit to get it back unless you spend an extra 79$ to get it free or use almost 30$ to get it shipped.

They sent me sick fish. They refunded in store credit i spent it on corals came with a delay so it was dead they reshipped to me in sizes 5 times SMALLER. I will NEVER shop from them and i recommend you do not either. STAY AWAY from this company

I really wanted a blue hippo tang and was excited when saltwaterfish had an offer for a free one with purchase of $149. The fish was sent sick right out of the bag and we had no luck trying to save it. Since it was a promotional item, they do not cover it even if it dies within the time. They won't even replace the Tang. I am not requesting credit, just possibly a new Tang. BEWARE: they will send you sicks one if it's free because they don't have to repay you for them.
