2 issues within 2 days of dealing with…
2 issues within 2 days of dealing with this company. First they didnt want to honor the freebie I chose and had me choose a different one even though said freebie was still advertised. Second I had 1 shrimp doa a $6 shrimp and they didnt want to honor the replacement. Its live aquaria for me from now on.

Thank you for your review and feedback. Our inventory is in real time, and when you order an item, it is held for you. As we begin to sell out of a particular item, the remaining few may not be in perfect condition, and we do not ship anything that is less than perfect, this applies to regular marine life and also our freebies. We then offer customers the option to choose a substitute, or even the option to hold the order back until it can ship complete. Any item that is DOA is eligible for a full refund provided the guarantee process is followed.

Made me pay for their incompetence
Placed an order with free shipping, they forgot to include a heating packet, received frozen dead anenome. rather than replace it they wanted to charge me an extra $40 (shipping + packaging) to replace it. Will never shop from them again and will be sharing my experience as a warning to others.

Beyond your local, there are other weather factors to consider, such as the route in which your order takes to get to the final destination. We are sorry your Anemone did not survive. DOA items are eligible for a full refund if the guarantee process is followed.

2 bad blue hippo tangs and short over $100 credit
Spent over 160 on first blue hippo tang. DOA. Gave me less credit to buy smaller tang. Emailed them minutes after I opened package and saw a horrible looking blue tang in green water providing a picture. They didn't email a response until almost a week later. Died 1 week later. They only gave me 47 store credit. Will never buy livestock from them again.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback. Any item that is DOA is eligible for a full refund as outlined in our guarantee policy. We do not accept phone calls or emails as a method of submitting a loss claim. We add stress coat for certain species, giving it a green tinge to the water; it is perfectly safe. We are accessible by phone, text, email, and chat, 7 days a week for customer service and to assist with submitting claims properly.

Never again!
They quoted me a price and then added charges. I talked to a someone and had them cancelled my order and I still waiting on the money to show back in my account.. Never Again.

Thank you for your review. All charges are clear and upfront. Nothing is hidden nor is a surprise. In this particular case, it is regarding the $6.99 charge for rural customers whom have only the option of Priority delivery, as standard overnight is not available in their area. This information is clearly shown during the checkout process, in our FAQ on the website, and also on the shipping page. The refund process was not delayed either. The order was placed, and within 24 minutes (per customer request) it was fully refunded back to PayPal.

Received package all fish dead + water…
Received package all fish dead + water came out very cool + box was damage after when i took pictures and send it to them and then they said nothing they can do with this, Very bad customer services. I lost everything :( !!!Care!!! before you order. Thanks & good luck your business

Supplies are shipped ground UPS. This information is shown on our shipping page as well as during checkout where it provides an estimated delivery day, and also on the order confirmation email. We also send out a tracking email for all supply and marine life orders. We have an incredible group of aquarium experts available by phone, text, chat, and email that are happy to answer any questions, 7 days a week.
